[When Yuna shows up on the monitors this time, it's with a small embarrassed blush on her face.]

I got kind of a cool spell back from my world about a week ago, and I wanted to know if anybody wanted to help me test it out.

[There's a short pause here as she glances somewhat awkwardly from side to side, scratching at her cheek.]

It's probably best if it's someone I already know and trust just because of how this one works, but I guess I can't really be picky. If you're interested, let me know.

Okay, so I've got something really important to ask you guys. Summer is coming up soon, and pretty soon I'm going to be using a lot more of a certain vitally important substance I got back from my world around Christmas. I haven't seen it or anything like it for sale anywhere else in the city, so I need to start planning ahead since it won't last forever. Are any of you out there good at chemistry? If I gave one of you a sample of this vitally important substance, do you think you could analyze the composition of it and recreate the recipe? I'm willing to pay good money for anyone willing to take on this job, just... be reasonable, waitresses at burger restaurants don't make all that much. Anyway, if you're interested in the details, just contact me back.

I know a lot of us are here alone, and that's bad enough- but it's even worse on a birthday! So I figure while the calendar here might not match the ones from your homes, and it might take some finagling to figure it out...

Maybe we could set up some kind of committee or something- so people don't have to spend their birthdays alone!

-Is it on yet? [It is on yet. Yes. Okay. Good. Say hello to Silver, guys! He's trying not to look as awkward as he feels on the network, but there's only so much he can do. Behind him are a couple of his Pokémon- as well as a couple of Crys' partners. They all seem to be in pretty high spirits!]

Hi. [Great and solid start there, loser.] You know the bird guy [name, he has a name-] Ramza that gives Chocobo eggs to good homes every now and then? [Deep breath, Silver. Easy. He's not sure why he didn't just let Crys do this. She's much better with talking to people- anyway.]

Crys and I have a few eggs in need of good homes too. [And it's at this point that he holds up two blue eggs with very different patterns on them- He's very careful about it, but it's more than enough to get a good look at them.] We've got a few of them.

The catch is that they're gonna hatch into Pokémon- they'll be the pre-evolution of one of these guys back here. [All the Pokémon eagerly wave from behind Silver! Hi guys.] They're gonna need a lot of love, attention, and patience. Some people at home treat them like pets, but most people treat them like friends or partners.

We'll answer anything you need to know about them and help you train them if you want, but we can't take care of all of these guys ourselves. [...So, uh-] Any takers?

There isn't much fanfare in this posting, even with the official notice on the top. Actually, there's something almost stark in its simplicity. Just basic text and a blinking cursor on a black background, that slowly loads up into a full message:

Local and guest alike.

Several months ago the city experienced a disruption in the form of a transmission hacking of an official feed; as many of you reading this are aware. We have since been reviewing the data and running decryption on the hijacking's interference, and have come to a conclusion on a location of the signal.

It is outside of the city walls, which now makes it necessary for us to enlist the help of those called to the city.

Be advised that the person is an unknown factor, and likely to be dangerous. In addition, the environment outside is hazardous as well, and should be approached with caution. Because of this risk, volunteers will be rewarded for their efforts. They will also be the first on the scene with uncovering answers that we all doubtless wish to discover.

Representatives from their respective departments will be available to answer questions, and impart necessary information. Given the nature of this task, there may be additional requests granted. However, they are only requests. The first and major goal in this is gathering information.

Fare you well, and may the Twins guard you while afield.

[The screen turned on with Junpei looking rather panicked, gripping one side of the screen in an effort to get it to do what he needed to. He certainly wasn't in his room, behind him seeming to be a big open area, like a waiting room--]

G-guys, Minato...!

[Okay, okay, breath, calm down, Junpei. Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Junpei looked back into the camera, an anxious look still on his face.]

You told me about Minato, right? Minako's male version you met before and the one Yuka-tan knows? I-I think he's back again, but...!

[Shaking his head, Junpei continued, trying to focus on getting the words out...]

But when he saw me, he completely passed out cold! His uniform is completely trashed, and the doctors say he's sufferin' from malnutrition, like he hasn't eaten properly in months... a-and he's got burn scars on his hand, and...

[Okay, he was panicking again- he toook a deep breath, hanging his head before finally looking up at the camera]

Y-you guys should come down and check on him too... and uh, Boss, Yuna, I'm really sorry but I can't leave this guy on his own-- I-I'm gonna take a few days off, alright? I promise I'll make it up to you both!

If anyone needs me, I'll be in his room till they kick me out, alright?

[What appears first on the video isn't Sora, but the nose of a small (but growing!) kitten - one of the black cats that showed up a few months ago, it looks like, or one of their kittens. She sniffs around for a few seconds before Sora, who can be seen from a shaky overhead view, pulls her back a little, and she meows in protest.]

Hey, be careful with that! [Silly cat, always sticking her nose into things...hey, wait! He takes another look over, scooting the portable device closer to him when he realizes that it's on. Not just on, but recording!]

Geez...I just got this thing, and I don't even get to make the first post. [He turns to the cat and leans down close to her face, as if they're carrying on a conversation.] I was the one saving up for it, y'know.

[The cat's only response is to lick his nose, then once again position herself as obtrusively as possible between him and the camera. This is her show, thankyouverymuch.]

Well, fine, did you want to say hello?

[The cat meows again, which Sora is going to assume is kitty-speak for yes, and he laughs in the background as she continues to sniff at the screen and make noises, before finally licking the screen.

Apparently, it isn't at all to her tastes. She makes a disgruntled squeak before backing off, then running away to who-knows-where. Sora, apparently on his game today, laughs again and cleans the screen off with a cloth.] Just like Excalibur...

Man, do all cats do stuff like this, or is it just mine?

Calling all mages and other magically-inclined people!

[Yeah, that's how she's starting this.]

I've been here for almost a year now, and I still only know the one spell I came here with. I'm still keeping up with my training, but a mage in training for three years who only knows how to cast one spell is pretty lame. I mean, there's reasons and all, but they're starting to sound more like excuses. I dunno if the magic I know is compatible with anyone else's, but there's no reason I can't try, right?

[Nodding into the camera, she grins.]

So I'm looking for a new teacher. I want to learn a flight spell, at the very least. And if it works out, maybe we can keep training together. I can even pay for the lessons if you want, whether or not it works out.

[A short pause, as she realizes she's forgetting something important.]

Oh yeah, right. My name's Yuna Akashi. Both of my parents were mages, I cast spells using incantations and a wand, and my elemental affinities are fire and wind. So there's that, if it helps. Anyway, if anybody's interested, give me a call!

[Charlie brushes a bit of hair back. Freshly washed and scented hair. The coffee cups have been cleaned up since last time, and her eyes aren't even red! You'd almost think she had someone to look nice for... You'd be wrong. But still. She looks nice. Thank you for noticing.

The Webula has officially passed its inspection phase. [Wooo!] Sorry for anyone who hit hit a bug. [Deep apologies if your comm got broken or some robot entity tried to take over your life or anything during this.]

That means I'm officially opening it up to my my fellow hackers. Or anyone else,actually.

ooc: SO. This update has two halfs to it. OOCLY, you can mosey on over to this place, designed by our loverly Kay, and post your website! Keep in mind the IC half, though - the creation of these websites!

Characters will find a few new tool in their communicators, similar to when the webula first emerged. First of all, there's a nice little app which will show you the code she used to design her websites, and the webula in general. You won't be able to directly interact with it from there, but you can peruse and critique it to your hearts desires.

Second, for her "fellow hackers" - basically just a blank slate you can use to program and submit your websites.

And the biggest time consumer on Charlie's part - she's designed a point and click tool that will allow the less tech savvy characters to add their own contributions.

[Seventeen mortal days. Seventeen days and he had yet to find a way out of here. So many of his plans seemingly ruined by a group of mortals with more power than they rightfully should have. He had looked and crept around, looking for whatever brought him here, but there were no buildings as conspicuous as the Bi-fröst or any devices as strange as the device to harness the Teseract. In fact, they couldn't have the Teseract, that was safely on Asgard, and there should be no other mystical artifacts like it in the universe.

So, how did he come to be here? After much debate, Loki decided to turn to his fellow prisoners. He did not do so without much thought, what were the chances of any of these having even an infinitesimal amount of knowledge of multi-dimensional, magical physics? He has found an access point for the network, and is sitting as comfortably as possible, when he feels quite ill. In fact, as soon as he turns on the feed, he sneezes... straight into a teacup, splashing brown liquid in his face. Oops, it appears that this god of mischief hasn't been keeping up with the required amount of physical contact]

My apologies. [he manages to get a handkerchief from his pocket and wipe his nose. He has been ill in the past, but his is different, he can feel his powers drain and he feels tired. This is more than the sniffles] What diseases are native to this land? Has anyone made an advance study of them?

[a violent shiver knocks the video askew. You can see the library of building 2 before Loki rights it] If any know what will cure this dreadful cold, I would be grateful to hear your advice.

[he clears his throat, which had gone a little hoarse] Now, for the other reason of this message. I am forced to conclude that this universe is not the universe I am from. Unless one has found whatever device or artifact was used to bring us here.

[Not for the first time, Crystal's glad she got her PokéGear wired to the network. Of course, it's the first time she's actually posting (phoning?) to it... though she sounds as confident as if she was doing it for the tenth or twelfth time.]

A friend posed a challenge to me about a month ago [which was obviously his mistake] to do a few things while I'm here: to explore the city, to get a[nother] hobby, and to go out on a date.

[She's spent the better part of the month exploring whatever she hasn't. Of course, it probably won't be good enough for Silver -- she's not into finding places for secret hideouts or niches no one expects. She's fine with just what she can get on the street, unless someone wants to pull her around elsewhere! So asking Crystal to go explore a city? Not the greatest idea. Honestly, trying to figure out where to begin was the hard part.]

I've got the first part covered, but I'm not interested in a lot of things as far as hobbies. Would anyone be willing to tell me what they're interested in? I'd like to try anything you can offer.

[...On review, that question's really lackluster, but there's no super catchy way to ask "hey what are you hobbies" to a city-wide network of people.

[It looks like Yuna is back in good spirits after her holiday slump. She still misses Rin, but they were both well aware of the possibility that one of them could be returned home at any time, leaving the other behind. In the end, there's nothing to be done about it, so she's doing her best to move on.

And what better way to move on than by showing off one of her fancy new Christmas presents from the city? She's got a big grin on as she thrusts a suspicious-looking clear tube filled with some sort of gross-looking green cream into the camera. The label on the side reads 'Nuru Nuru X.']

[Surprise, it's Tony! He's in his apartment, having hooked up devices of some kind to the network. Also he's wearing sunglasses. Yes, inside. Maybe that's to hide the lines under his eyes and overall weary, strained look, because after months of insomnia he's fraying at the edges.

Maybe it's just because he's Tony. The world may never know.]

Okay, so, granted, our benevolent huggytime captors are apparently goddamn psychopaths, since shadow demons and evil snowmen count as "no big deal" for the science department. Yeah. You got a lot of 'splainin' to do, Lucies. But come on, seriously, who really thought this was a good idea?

[he jerks his thumb behind him at two industrial robot arms in the background with chassis labeled U and DUM-E. The one labeled U spins its claw in apparent confusion, while DUM-E just makes a quizzical mechanized hum. Tony makes a disgusted face that is far too exaggerated to be sincere.]

Two most useless robots, ladies and gentlemen. Anybody want 'em? They're good for, ah... well, nothing. I dunno. Dummy's pretty good with a fire extinguisher. Aren't you, Dummy? [he glances back at the bot, which tilts its claw, then wiggles its arm up and down enthusiastically in its approximation of a nod. Tony turns back to the camera and shakes his head sadly.]

God, it's like having a kid that never grows out of the idiot phase.

[U, meanwhile, has rolled slowly out of view of the camera. Shortly after, there's a loud crash from elsewhere in the apartment. Tony jerks in surprise and bolts out of his chair.] You! I swear, I'm going to sell you to the highest bidder, give you to that magic dragon kid, let him use you as a cape rack, wand holder, whatever the hell magic people use.

[This is the first time that Steve is making a video like this to everyone, but he has used this feature when talking to others on this network at least. So, he doesn't look too awkward as he talks into it.]

Know that this is a bit late, but wanted to thank the people who gave me these items for Christmas. [He shows a rather famous red, white and blue circular shield and a Captain America costume that was used during the USO tours.]

It's real thoughtful of you. [He smiles a little, completely honest in his words.] However, the outfit is a bit too uh- big for me. Couldn't get it on without drowning in it, to be honest. So I'm wondering if anyone wants it, don't have much of a use for it myself and I wouldn't want it to go to waste.

[He looks down at the shield for a moment, feeling somewhat attached to it despite himself.] I'm keepin' the shield though, never know when something like this could come in handy...

It's pretty much your basic internet package. We've just got a few websites, right now, but I'm thinking expansion once it gets a bit settled. [Sorry. She shouldn't just leap into the middle like this, but one gets a little loopy when recreating the internet.]

You guys should all go check it out. And upload some stuff. [Because seriously, it's all depressingly empty right now. Go fix that. While she collapses back against the desk to sleep.]

Hello, guests of our fair city!

[A young woman appears on the screen, dressed in white robes with a very ornate pattern on the hood and sleeves inlaid with gold thread. She stretches her arms out in welcome, a warm smile crossing her lips.]

My name is Rhea, and I am the one who presides over our ancient traditions - including those kept within our temple that was only recently reclaimed by the plight that has infected our homes.

[She bows her head in thought, and despite herself, tones down her youthfulness into a more serious tone.]

My fellow priestesses, the monks, and I hope you had a festive winter holiday season despite those creatures who seemed taken with us all. Let me ease your fears and say that those slain shortly before your Earthen holiday of Christmas were the last, and our... partners in the science department are s-

[And just like that, the video cuts as a laugh echoes through the now-staticky feed as though they weren't being broadcasted by something that had been linked directly to the network like the initial feed. Judging by the tone, it is decidedly male.]

Shown yourself to give them a sense of safety, have you my dearest Rhea? And I thought the priestess you succeeded had taught you better than to lie to your guests.

[There is a clearing of a throat and further pause before the video cuts back to Rhea, looking quite at a loss for words.]

...A-As I was saying, the science department as collected a few of the rocks for study. Though I doubt they'll find much on an object that has lost it's magic, if what history reads.

[As the feed cuts, she mouths "What was that?" to someone off-screen.]
