01. [Video] [Public] Emergency! (Backdated to March 18th)
[The screen turned on with Junpei looking rather panicked, gripping one side of the screen in an effort to get it to do what he needed to. He certainly wasn't in his room, behind him seeming to be a big open area, like a waiting room--]
G-guys, Minato...!
[Okay, okay, breath, calm down, Junpei. Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Junpei looked back into the camera, an anxious look still on his face.]
You told me about Minato, right? Minako's male version you met before and the one Yuka-tan knows? I-I think he's back again, but...!
[Shaking his head, Junpei continued, trying to focus on getting the words out...]
But when he saw me, he completely passed out cold! His uniform is completely trashed, and the doctors say he's sufferin' from malnutrition, like he hasn't eaten properly in months... a-and he's got burn scars on his hand, and...
[Okay, he was panicking again- he toook a deep breath, hanging his head before finally looking up at the camera]
Y-you guys should come down and check on him too... and uh, Boss, Yuna, I'm really sorry but I can't leave this guy on his own-- I-I'm gonna take a few days off, alright? I promise I'll make it up to you both!
If anyone needs me, I'll be in his room till they kick me out, alright?

[Of course, the hospital was obvious, but he wanted a floor, room number...something more detailed.]

He's in room 3-18, senpai; he still hasn't woken up. And uh, if you could buy some clothing in his size or somethin', that would be good.
[Junpei then held up a tattered, frayed version of their school uniform jacket for his senpai to see.]
No way in hell he can wear this anymore... I'm gonna see if someone can fix it up or something, or even make a new set for him.
[Putting the uniform down again, Junpei shook his head]
You don't have to, senpai! I mean, I'm used to sitting around hospitals...
[...Then again, he didn't want to disappoint his boss or leave Yuna alone on the floor, and if Akihiko really wanted to...]
...Lemme see if I can switch my shifts around so they're opposite what you work, though, alright?

[He has to take a minute to think about that. He would remember Minato's stature better if they had interacted more frequently.] He has a similar build to you, right? Not as tall, but I mean, his body shape.
What the hell happened, anyway? You think he could've gotten into a fight already? [Only, none of the other residents would be so brutal.]
Yeah, sure. I'll tell you my schedule when I get there. Mine's pretty flexible. When're his visiting hours?

[Akihiko's question left Junpei shaking his head, sighing.]
I dunno if it was anything here in Saeng Seong, senpai; it wasn't like he was bleeding or anything fresh; and the doctors said he must've been starved for months to get the way he is now. And he looked like he saw a ghost when he saw me...
[Oh right, visiting hours...]
They're pretty lenient about it, really; most of the afternoon and evening, they just needed to run some tests on him to double check his blood an' stuff.

Akihiko shakes his head to clear away that thought. Given Minako’s recent arrival, he doesn’t know if he can really be the bearer of bad news, yet again. And so soon.]
We can ask him when he feels up to it… In the meantime, take it easy. He’s gotta get better first.
Well, I’ve gotta run to the store to get his clothes… so tomorrow’s probably better for a visit. [He’d rather go now, really. And if this was a year ago, Akihiko would just rush right over, without even thinking about it.] At least he’s conscious.

[Nodding, Junpei felt more reassured. Okay, so his senpai's were good for this...]
Alright senpai; I'll be here tomorrow too, okay? Seeya then.

Junpei had told her about him when she had arrived, but she probably hadn't taken it as seriously as she should have. but the fact of the matter was that he existed, that he was in Saeng Seong right now, and that he was hurt. they'd have to become formally acquainted later. ]

[He was not looking forward to that discussion of 'I don't know you but I know we're friends so let's be friends now too, okay?' with Minato...]

[ she's worried, but also a little excited - another Wild Card, and one that had apparently gone through the same events as her? that meant that he harbored Death as well... that had to mean that they shared the same fate. there was so much she had to ask him. ]
Do you think I can at least heal him with one of my Personas?

[Maybe they could heal him! That would get him out and about i--
And then a memory of how sick they got in Tartarus brought that idea back down.]
I dunno though, Minako-- I mean, when we had a cold or something, it could really mess us up in Tartarus, y'know? Maybe it's the same deal here... but hey, it's worth a shot!

I saw him when I went to check the Welcome Center; and he just saw me and then passed out. I don't wanna leave the guy alone for too long...
[Sighing, Junpei shook his head.]
But, Akihiko-senpai said he can sit when I'm working, so I guess once we compare schedule's it's more about switching shifts than out and out dropping em.

I can't remember any time I was with Minako that shit got that bad to be starved; so I dunno how'd he be like that, if things were the same for him and 'another' me. I'm totally in the dark on this...

She's a little late seeing this, since she's been...kind of off letting herself come to terms with the place. It's only recently that she finally started to accept that it's even real- them actually being in a place that requires them to touch...in order to not be sick. Where her mind currently is, though...
Minato-kun...
After hearing and seeing the entire message, her expression tenses into one of total concern and worry. She'll question the "back again" part of the thing, later. For now, she's worried about their leader's current physical state. In fact, she'll save all but one of her questions for after she gets there.
She just hopes the message gets to Junpei, considering her being just a little late with her response. Her tone is serious, while holding the obvious fact that she is beyond worried. She's actually struggling with the whole...not freaking out, thing.]
Where exactly is he?
[Meaning, what room of course.]

[He actually managed to give her a smile, even if it was a little forced; but he had to try to reassure her.]
I'm pretty sure he'd love to see you again, Yuka-tan. The Doctors are takin' good care of him, I promise.
