[Doctor Holiday appears on the screen in the lounge of her apartment complex (Building 2, if you must know) and she looks rather worried. Every now and then, her eyes will glance off screen.]

I know this sounds ridiculous, especially for the time of year, but have any of you-?

[She turns around quickly, before slowly looking back to the screen.]

I think I'm just really paranoid or... someone's trying to prank me? I don't know, I just-

[She turns again... Then quickly glances back to the screen.]

Am I the only one seeing things?

[Holiday realizes how crazy she seems in that moment...]

[Holiday comes on screen, but she doesn't look very well. She's pale, sweaty, and her hair looks like a mess.]

I had to take off of work. I think I've come down with something. Haven't had a fever like this in years... I don't know...

Anyway, I'm just not going to be making any sort of house calls or things like that until I'm better, so don't come by. I don't want to get anyone sick. It'll go away soon.

[It's different, though. She has the fever, but no sneezing or coughing or anything like that. Strange, but a fever's still a fever.] Stay healthy, everyone.

[She wipes the newly formed beads of sweat from her forehead before closing the feed.]

[It's a little hard to tell with text, but Mewtwo is in a bit of a mood today. Mostly because he's been feeling increasingly ill as the days go by. Guess who hasn't been hugging people?]

These natives have taken us hostage and cursed us with their own illness, forcing us to help them or risk becoming unnaturally ill...and you go out and celebrate with them? Join them in playing carnival games? Are you all insane, or do you simply have severe short-term memory loss?! I have never seen a better demonstration of Stockholm Syndrome in my life!

My name is Dr. Rebecca Holiday and I've decided to volunteer my services to the new comers in this place, as well as seeking a job at the local hospital. I'm available to make house calls, free of charge, for any illness or injury though I'll recommend the hospital for anything serious.

If this begins to take up more of my time to the point where working becomes close to impossible, I may have to start adding a fee, but that won't be for awhile yet.

If you need me, contact this service number. I've gotten one of the locals to tag my phone into the local service, so I'll receive any calls. If I'm unavailable, leave a message. I'll get any emergency notifications immediately, but please try to only use that service in the case of an emergency, not pranks.

Hello, everyone.

It's come to my attention that a number of you are concerned because of the disappearances that have been going on lately. I'm here today to reassure you - everyone who disappeared is safe. They're been sent back to their worlds for the time being.

The reason is that a number of people started showing signs of extremely fast energy drain - quick enough that they would have died within a couple of hours if left unattended. We returned them all for their own safety.

Right now, we're working on trying to figure out why only some people have been affected by this rapid drain. We hope to have more information for you soon.

Also, thank you all for your help in re-opening the Third District. For those of you that may have been wondering, opening the district was the cause of the power outages early in the month; for that reason, we're going to hold off on opening any other districts for the time being, until we're sure that the power levels are sufficient.

Anyone who knows him and looks closely enough might see that he's not in the same spirits as usual. He's quieter, more thoughtful, and his eye won't meet the camera.]
