I do not understand you people...
[It's a little hard to tell with text, but Mewtwo is in a bit of a mood today. Mostly because he's been feeling increasingly ill as the days go by. Guess who hasn't been hugging people?]
These natives have taken us hostage and cursed us with their own illness, forcing us to help them or risk becoming unnaturally ill...and you go out and celebrate with them? Join them in playing carnival games? Are you all insane, or do you simply have severe short-term memory loss?! I have never seen a better demonstration of Stockholm Syndrome in my life!

Saeng Seong, the only city where a desire for solitude is punishable by death.

Are you well? [concern (he knows how the withdrawal symptoms feel, they're quite terrible), since that's... the only thing he can see eliciting this kind of response to the festivities now when he was so calm before.]
[text]
No, I am not well! They have infected me with whatever this disease is!

[the important thing here, honestly.]

I went to the carnival in an attempt to learn more about this place and the locals. Don't think that everyone is just happily settling in. There's obviously a lot going on here behind the scenes that we aren't entirely aware of.
As for the illness, we're trying to find out more as a group, but it's easy enough to alleviate until then.
text
Perhaps you did, but I watched the celebrations from afar. I highly doubt that everyone there was simply attending to "learn" things! They looked perfectly happy to spend the rest of their lives with our jailers!
The best cure for it would be to be sent home! They have admitted to having the power to do so!
text
They know that we're trying to get home. We're trying to talk them into it.
Are you just here to rant?

Hnh. Some of them even say they like the hugging so it doesn't matter.
[text]
How quaint. That hardly changes the principle of the matter.

Hnh. I'm not surprised. Seen it before: if people are getting what they want, they don't ask too many questions.

Perhaps they were chosen for that reason. It is much easier to imprison idiots.
