I do not understand you people...

[It's a little hard to tell with text, but Mewtwo is in a bit of a mood today. Mostly because he's been feeling increasingly ill as the days go by. Guess who hasn't been hugging people?]

These natives have taken us hostage and cursed us with their own illness, forcing us to help them or risk becoming unnaturally ill...and you go out and celebrate with them? Join them in playing carnival games? Are you all insane, or do you simply have severe short-term memory loss?! I have never seen a better demonstration of Stockholm Syndrome in my life!

People enjoy carnivals for whatever reason, kidnapping or not— some use 'celebrating' to cope with the situation at hand. [catch his drift? more importantly:]

I went to the carnival in an attempt to learn more about this place and the locals. Don't think that everyone is just happily settling in. There's obviously a lot going on here behind the scenes that we aren't entirely aware of. As for the illness, we're trying to find out more as a group, but it's easy enough to alleviate until then.

Perhaps you did, but I watched the celebrations from afar. I highly doubt that everyone there was simply attending to "learn" things! They looked perfectly happy to spend the rest of their lives with our jailers!

The best cure for it would be to be sent home! They have admitted to having the power to do so!

I know that. We all know that. There's also nothing wrong with some people making the best out of a bad situation. They know that we're trying to get home. We're trying to talk them into it. Are you just here to rant?

There is nothing wrong with allowing ourselves some time to rest and relax as long as we keep our goal in mind. By helping and being friendly, we might even gather information that we would not have been given otherwise. I see no harm to it.

Keeping our goal in mind is what I doubt most are doing. They have been distracted by our jailers...thinking nothing of the injustice of being here...

We should not force those who do not wish to fight into it. Those of us who are determined to return home will continue to do what we can.
