[Doctor Holiday appears on the screen in the lounge of her apartment complex (Building 2, if you must know) and she looks rather worried. Every now and then, her eyes will glance off screen.]

I know this sounds ridiculous, especially for the time of year, but have any of you-?

[She turns around quickly, before slowly looking back to the screen.]

I think I'm just really paranoid or... someone's trying to prank me? I don't know, I just-

[She turns again... Then quickly glances back to the screen.]

Am I the only one seeing things?

[Ataru's first thought is that The Ninja is starting early and picked a victim they both happened to know- but no. He's already focused his efforts elsewhere, and Holiday looks so rattled...

... and maybe she's not the only one seeing things. He's been putting the blips and shapes in the periphery of his vision down to a lack of sleep, stress, some sort of early winter bug, but if he's not the only one there could be more to it.

He frowns a little into the camera, and when he speaks there's concern in his usually even questioning.]

What sort of things do you mean?

I- I don't know. It's not really... anything, it's just things at the edge of my vision. Just... shadows or something.

At the expense of sounding completely insane... I wasn't going to mention anything, but... there seems to be more of them now. Or more frequent.

Maybe I should go to the hospital.

[There's a small pause.] ... I couldn't have put it better myself. [He meets her eyes, more searching now than before.] I've been seeing shadows and shapes out the corner of my eye for a couple of days now- I had put it down to working too hard or not eating right, but if it's affecting more than just us it could be a citywide problem.

I suspect that you are not. I have been... seeing shadows in my peripheral vision ever since I arrived here.

It may be an effect of interuniversal transferrence. Possibly a bleedthrough from another universe. I have not been able to find any weakening of the spacetime membrane, however,

To be honest, the events occurring lately are making me reconsider the prank option I had at the start of all this... Insanity is possible, even for a vast number of people at the same time, seeing as we're in a completely new environment, for the most part, against our will.

The timing is throwing me.

That is a relieve to hear. It would be dilemma if they did attack.

Is there anyone whom you can stay with until the situation changes for the better, Holiday-sama? If you are feeling uneasy, then it would be the best decision to do so. Along with drinking some lavender tea, it might help calm your nerves?

Don't think you're the only one seeing things here, ma'am. [Steve's been seeing, or at least he thinks he's been seeing, shadows flicker at the corner of his eyes. He thought it was just stress or exhaustion, but it looks like others have been affected too. Maybe, at least.]

It's pretty normal to see shadows, don't worry. All objects and creatures have them as long as the sun is positioned in a certain way in comparison to them.
