Hey guys, Cupid here! Just a heads up that if I seem a little M.I.A. the next few weeks- well, more than I already have at least- do not be alarmed. Valentine's Day preparation is something I take super seriously, so... yeah.

[It's a family thing.]

Gonna be a liiiiittle bit busier than usual.

But! If anyone needs my help with any special plans for the holiday, feel free to let me know, okay? I am totally the ghu- uh, goddess to help you out with that!

[She pauses, and then adds, thoughtfully-]

P.S. If someone would drop by and remind me to grab lunch every once in a while? I'd really appreciate it.

Well, sure if someone wants to! I'm sure not going to stop them, at least. I'm just not sure how much help I'd be, honestly. I get a little... frazzled around this time of year.

But the holiday is simple in theory, isn't it? Exchanging chocolates to loved ones, baking a few batches of cookies? I believe it was you who'd told me not to over-think it. Why not you?

I'm surprised you don't simply take it easy that day, see what happens, and if the stories are true fire an arrow or two.

Do you know anything about, er, making chocolates? Back home, girls give guys they're interested in chocolates and get the favor returned on White Day, about a month later. I don't exactly have any experience with it, but there's some people I'd like to do it for.

Well, I know a bit... I'm no expert though, so results not guaranteed!

[She says that, but her chocolates are actually very, very good.]

I can try and move some stuff around so I can teach you!

I'd really appreciate it, Miss Cupid. They mean a lot to me, and it's probably the easiest way to show them around this time of year.

But Valentine's Day is... a holiday for love and romance- to show the person you love how you feel about them. So naturally, gods of love are pretty busy for it!

Father would love a day like that! But why do people need a special day to celebrate love? Shouldn't they celebrate it all year long? It's really important!

Well, of course they should! But it's kind of... a special day for it. A lot of people take advantage of the day to finally confess to people they like and things like that.

For some reason, it makes it easier for them to work up to it.

Are they afraid to tell the person how they feel? Why would you be afraid? Love is something that should always be given and received freely.

[Diarmuid sighs and shakes his head.]

I don't understand how modern people think sometimes.

Whoa! Like, the real Cupid? Should I be ready to dodge arrows in a few weeks?

Daughter of, actually. And not unless you're volunteering! I try not to do the arrow thing except in cases of extreme emergency these days.
