[Video] w/optional [Action] In Memorandum...
Hi everyone! I hope you are having a good day!
[Diarmuid waves excitedly at the screen for a moment, before having to move quickly to catch the strange little animal that starts to slide out of his lap.]
Sorry about that, Lir. I guess I waved too hard...
[The creature makes a soft burbling sound and blows a bubble at Diarmuid. The bubble bumps against the boy's nose and breaks causing him to giggle. He then turns his attention back to the terminal.]
Is there anyone here who remembers me talking about wanting to have a ceremony to celebrate all of our friends who have been sent away? I would like to have it next month by the river. There should be food and maybe even some activities, since the point is to have fun remembering our friends instead of being sad. At the end, I want to put candles out on the river floating in boats to send our wishes for our friends to them!
Will you guys help me out? Please? Lets do something nice for all the people who aren't here anymore! You don't need to have lost someone to come or help either. We're all friends here, right?
[Action]
[A few hours after making his request for help, Diarmuid can be found down by the river running up and down it looking for the best spot to have the ceremony--maybe 'festival' would be a better word--at. Lir bobs in the river following along with him the best he can. Every so often, Diarmuid stops and looks around, making gestures and talking to Lir as he tries to picture where everything will go if this is the place he picks.
He certainly won't mind if anyone stops to talk to him about the festival. After all, he's still trying to work everything out...]

[However, the last couple attempts had ended with him falling into the water, with all his prey slipping away. Right now he was wet and ready to be angry.]
Brother, can't you let Lir help me? If he learns how to catch fish, then we can have fish at our festival!
no subject
No luck on your own?
[Lir drifts over to Diarmuid and the boy reaches out to pat him on the head, before looking back at his brother.]
I am sure Lir will help you if you just ask. I don't know how good he will be at it, but he has to learn sometime, right?
[He gives Lir a smile and then waves the horsea toward Cu Chuliann.]
Go on! Let him teach you to fish, Lir!
no subject
[Cu Chulainn brightens up once he sees Lir swimming over to him.]
Alright, Lir. We're gonna catch fish!
[He kneels down and pats the little pokemon on the head.]
See the fish? Stay quiet and let them come over. As soon as they swim by, I'm gonna grab them with my hand. But if I can't catch them, you grab them with your mouth.
no subject
[Diarmuid's words are soft so he doesn't scare the fish away. He then settles back to watch his brother and Lir fishing.
Lir tilts his head as if he is listening and then blows a bubble at Cu Chulainn to show he understands. He's not sure if he can do it, but he understands and will try. Just in case his intentions aren't clear, he swims in a circle and then readies himself to go after a fish.]

[He returns a wave, before giving a curious smile.]
That's actually a really nice idea, Diarmuid. What kind of help do you need? [He then tilts his head, a bit.] If you need help with food, I might be able to manage something...?
no subject
[Lir remembers Luke and makes a soft trumpeting sound.]
Lir says thanks too! I am looking for whatever help you can give. There will be a lot to set up and food...
[The boy dips his head and laughs, the sound more than a little embarrassed.]
...if people want to eat the food, it's probably better my brother and I don't make it.
[They've set the kitchen on fire at least once. Who knows when it might happen again...]
no subject
You're welcome to the both of you, then.
[Giving an encouraging smile, now.] Hmm...Well, I did learn a few things. I definitely wouldn't mind cooking some things for this ceremony.
[More like he became exceptionally skilled at cooking in a rather short period of time. But, anyway--] How about this? If you two are interested in learning how to cook, I could maybe let you two help me prepare the food.
Since this is your idea, though, I'll let you decide!
no subject
[Diarmuid claps his hands excitedly around Lir, causing the horsea to squeak in surprise.]
Since we don't have any adults that live with us, we have to do our own cooking. I don't like setting the kitchen on fire, though. It's not fun!
[Not to mention how smokey and wet everything was. It was a good thing they moved to their new apartment not too long after that.]
It would be a lot of help if you would help us with the food. I hope a lot of people come, so the more food helpers we have, the better!

She comes across him before it gets dark, her spear on her back as usual, smiling as she greets him.]
It has been some time, Diarmuid.

[Diarmuid can't remember if she is one of the ones who has asked him not to use a title, so he goes ahead and uses it anyway to be polite. He also bows to her, before running over to stand next to her with a big grin on his face.]
It's been a very long time! Have you done anything exciting lately?
no subject
[She doesn't mind the title, so if Diarmuid wishes to call her that she has no objections. She kneels to properly talk to him so that neither of them have to strain their necks.]
I suppose it is somewhat exciting that I've recently gotten a pet to raise, as I can see you have. [She gestures to Lir in the river, which she assumes to be a pokemon, now that she's met a few others.]
no subject
[Diarmuid waves over at Lir who trumpets at them happily.]
What kind of pet did you get?

That's a really good idea. I can kinda cook, so I can totally help out with food. Or anything else that needs to be done.
Any help with food would be great, but you can help however you want to the most, Lady! I know we haven't met before, but I remember you from the first group!
[A sad look fills his eyes.]
A lot of those people are gone now...
Still, she does her best to smile; after all, older kids - or almost adults which is totally what she is- are supposed to reassure younger kids, right?]
But like, I bet they would be really happy to know you wanted to celebrate them like this! So we'll just have to like, work totally hard to make it a really great ceremony, right?
...Oh! You can call me Pilouette, by the way. It's like, a little silly we haven't met before now, huh?
[He bows his head politely, and Lir trumpets welcomingly.]
Lir says hi too!
That is why I really want to do this! It would make them happy, and I think it will make us happier too. I know it's easy to focus on being sad when people leave, but we wouldn't have gotten to meet these people at all if we didn't get brought here. We should celebrate that instead of focusing on them being gone!

I'm flying! I'm flying! Higher, Lady Cupid! Higher!
no subject
Higher, huh?
[She laughs and there is a sudden motion behind her as her wings spread and-- yeah, higher she goes, hovering a few feet off the ground as she gives another spin.]

I'd be happy to help out. Not the best cook around, but I can help by setting the ceremony up.

[Diarmuid gives the man an excited wave. It makes him really happy that people he doesn't even know are asking to help. It's one more sign of how big a family everyone is here.]
Help with set up would be very good. My brother and I are both very small. Even if he is stronger than me, his arms are still short.
[He waves his arms to demonstrate and almost knocks poor Lir off his lap again. The horsea makes an annoyed squeak and Diarmuid gathers him into his arms to apologize.]
Sorry, Lir.
no subject
We all started out small, took me a while to grow honestly. [Or more like it just took a few seconds to grow thanks to a serum. But. Details. Regardless, what was more interesting was the rather big seahorse in the kid's arms.]
Is Lir a friend of yours?

Am I doing this right...? Ah, OK there we go!
Hi! Um... is it OK for people who are new here to help too? I mean, I just got here a few days ago, so I haven't lost anybody here, but I can help cook and play my flupe if you want.
no subject
[Diarmuid waves very excitedly at the screen. He doesn't know her, but she looks like she is about his age and that makes him very happy. There aren't that many kids in the city, after all!]
I would be glad to have you help! Is a flupe a musical instrument? I haven't heard of one before!
[He wants to ask if she is a cat spirit, because of her eyes, but he waits for the moment not wanting to be rude.]
no subject
Thanks! And yeah it is. You wanna hear me play some?
[Cat, yes; spirit, no. She'll explain later. If he likes her eyes, wait til he gets a look at her tail!]
