In Saeng Seong, there are world shattering catastrophes, dividing crises, and events that make you rethink your whole world view.

And then there are more mundane disasters.

"So how d'you get blood out of fabric?" Shura asked the Network, still bed haired and half asleep.

"Also can anyone hook me up with a good local diet guide? Need to watch what I eat more."

[The camera opens up and there's a girl that some people may have never seen. She looks directly into the camera with earnestness and authority.]

Alright, listen up yous guys!

[She's pretty spunky, too.]

There's been all sorts of really weird things goin' on here, and I, for one, am not completely convinced that everything is as they say it is. Now, I ain't sayin' I'm trusting these people that brought us here, but also I ain't sayin' that those goons that showed up a couple days ago have the right idea either.

So, I am vowing to get to the bottom of this once and for all. Or, er... well, that is I'm going to try to anyways.

So here's the deal. I think that all of us know more about what's going heres than we might admit. I was talking to my friend and there's a lot of important stuff goin' on. So what I was thinkin' is if we were to start talkin' to one another we might start getting to the bottom of this whole wacky as heck mystery on our hands.

So who's with me?

[The girl then reaches for the feed before she seems to realize something. She takes a moment and then gives the camera the biggest smile she can muster.]

Oh, by the way, the name's Labrys for those of you that don't know me. Let's get to know each other a little better to, yeah?

[And the feed ends.]

[This orange robot looks nervous. More nervous that usual that is. He keeps glancing around as if something might jump out and grab him at any second.]

So... I was thinking... Does anybody want to have a sleepunder? Wait... sleepover? Um, that thing where you stay at somebody else's house all night so you're not alone.

[He crosses his arms defensively, despite nobody actually accusing him of anything. Yet.]

And this has absolutely nothing to do with all the flickering lights and creepy graffiti that's been showing up lately! I just want to make that clear.

[Blades is s terrible liar. He quickly returns to his worried demeanor, tapping his fingertips together.]

Sleep-thingy, anyone?

[A woman with short curly red hair appears on the screen, looking rather perturbed and cross.]

Dear native residents and newcomers, allow me to introduce myself. I am Dr Cyntia Law, head of the science division responsible for the technology you see around the city as well as the means that have brought us our most honored guests.

[She bows faintly, straightening to look directly into the camera.]

As of last night, we began to receive reports of what many locals report to be paranormal activity. Preposterous as the claims seem to a mind like myself, we have as of yet found any signs of a mechanical failure in the power systems of our otherwise closed community. While my staff continues to work on an acceptable solution to the problem, I urge all bodies to exercise due caution. If the more... superstitious lot are to be believed, there may be another force involved that we are as of yet unaware of. However, any able to assist in the capture of the recent graffiti and propaganda artisans will be rewarded to the best of ours and the welcome center's abilities.

[At that, there was a crash of something metal clanging to the floor.]

And for goodness' sake, will the owner of this demented feline please pick him up at the guest welcome center?

[...That is certainly a particular black cat named Banchou being picked up by an assistant.]

[The feed starts, and Ramza's already giving the two odd, ostrich-like birds behind him an exasperated look. The yellow one seems concerned; the red-feathered one... more cavalier than anything else.]

Another clutch... by now I might as well say they're making a habit of this. Three, this time.

[Fortunately, that means it's a routine endeavor for him as well. He arches his back slightly and hefts an item up to the frame. The oval shape and off-white color is familiar enough to just about anyone, and it's not a stretch to imagine that the two Chocobos behind him were the parents.]

As before-- [He took a moment to adjust his grip.] --I'll happily offer the eggs to any guests willing to foster them. In being hand-reared they will better work with humans, and I cannot hope to look after three chicks on my own.

[As if answering Ramza's reply, another yellow bird- somewhat smaller, but mature nonetheless- timidly plods into the frame, already fit with a saddle. But Ramza soon placates her with a well-practiced scratch behind her headcrest, and carefully sets the egg into her saddlebags.]

And further, we've one here whose caretaker has left Saeng Seong, and I would rather find her some human company as well. Her name is Salali... if you would put in a lot for the eggs, pray consider adopting her instead.

[A last pat on the head and she strides away to join the others. The red hen wastes no time in preening her headfeathers back into their proper smoothness.]
