"And I was just thinking, I should show him around the city. And I thought I could ask other people about places they've been to that they really like. And…Maybe people could talk about what they like or think makes for a good date? An Earth date, I mean!"

[Please don't mind the scowling boy behind her. Who seems to be mumbling something to the effect of,] "Why can't we just watch TV?"

Earth dates mean ice cream and movies and kissing in cars.

And stuff like that. [Kara can still mostly just parrot back what she's learned from TV, a few confusing dates with Barbara aside. But judging from her face, she's happy to do it.]

Don't listen to Supergirl, you can do whatever you want and call it a date. You can sit around and watch TV and it can still be a date.

A good Earth date, huh? [Her smile might be just a little bit teasing here. (Oh my gods this is actually adorable- and Piper really never uses that word.) Scowling boy doesn't intimidate her much, though she thinks she'll be careful not to get on his bad side, either.]

You could just keep it simple. Catch a meteor shower or falling stars, maybe have a picnic in your favorite spot, and make some of the foods you know he likes. Those leaf piles would make a great dessert.

I have seen such things involve places called 'soda fountains,' 'Lover's Lanes,' 'drive-in movies,' 'discotheques,' and 'Makeout Points.' Often, consumption of food and the watching of cinematic entertainment is involved, and it appears as though the outing is not considered successful unless some kind of physical contact is achieved. I believe sports metaphors are employed to gauge how successful the couple's meeting was. Depending on the time period, the social ramifications of said contact vary from the admirable to the scandalous, though it is commonly held that kissing is the most desirable outcome.

The park? It's beautiful, definitely; I love all the trees, and the water there is so calming and nice to be around, and I could definitely see how walking together there would be nice.
