2nd Brain Wave

"Hello everyone!"

[Wow, look at who has the brightest smile on today. M'gann even gives the video screen a cheerful wave as well.]

"So, I had a teammate- A really…Close teammate? Arrive a few weeks ago."

[Translation; 'I have a boyfriend and still don't know how to tell other people about it outside of blatant displays of affection and cuddling.']

"And I was just thinking, I should show him around the city. And I thought I could ask other people about places they've been to that they really like. And…Maybe people could talk about what they like or think makes for a good date? An Earth date, I mean!"

[Please don't mind the scowling boy behind her. Who seems to be mumbling something to the effect of,] "Why can't we just watch TV?"

"I...Thank you?"

[Okay, conversation or topic change needed NOW so...]

"Is there anything I should try? W-with swimming, I mean."

Well, the hot tub is probably where you want to be if you're looking for romance. That or the sauna.

"Oh..."

[Now she really glances away from the screen, looking self conscious.]

"Aren't those...Really high temperature, though? I-I don't always do great, with that."

You might want to stay away from the sauna, then, but the hot tub should probably be all right as long as you don't spend too long in there. Of course, that all depends on how much things heat up between you and your boyfriend while you're in there.

[Yuna, you are terrible.]

"On...On second thoughts, maybe just the pool. And we can try the hot tub later. Or not spend much time there. There's...Not really a lot of room to swim in it, anyway; as far as I can tell, you're just supposed to...Sit there?"

[It's truly remarkable how she can say that with a mostly straight face, and not even have to invoke shapeshifting. Though the pink around her cheeks, that's something she doesn't have perfect control over.]

[Yuna can't help but giggle just a little at M'gann's blush. She's an incorrigible tease when people let her get away with it, and her new bestie here is a pretty easy mark.]

Well, it's all up to you. The important thing is getting to spend some quality time alone together.

[She just manages a nod, before glancing at the video screen.]

"Got it. I...I guess I could see about making some arrangements, then. M-make sure that he has um...Swim trunks maybe?"

[AND BREATHE, now that she's got that out.]

Yeah, those are gonna be pretty important unless you have some really exciting date plans.

[She's THIS close to growing two more hands to hide her face behind, while the others twine and clasp nervously in front of her. M'gann hits a middle ground by putting one of them against her face to duck behind, while the other goes into a light fist. And she limbers up the bones on that hand, so her fingers can do a little weaving on their own.]

"I-I don't think so...But thank you for your help?"

[She offers that, while wondering if the time is drawing nigh to end the video feed.]

Sure thing. Good luck. I'm really happy for you guys.

"Y-yeah. I'm...Happy for us too?"

[And because she has to double check before ending the call,]

"So you meant it, that you won't tell this to other people?"

[She has to cover her bases, after all.]

Of course not! I meant what I said.

"Much appreciated."

[She ducks her head as she says that, and...Actually giggles. It's a nervous one, but still a giggle.]

"Well, I better get to work on making this happen, then! I-I'll see you later, too?"
