[Wow, look at who has the brightest smile on today. M'gann even gives the video screen a cheerful wave as well.]

"So, I had a teammate- A really…Close teammate? Arrive a few weeks ago."

[Translation; 'I have a boyfriend and still don't know how to tell other people about it outside of blatant displays of affection and cuddling.']

"And I was just thinking, I should show him around the city. And I thought I could ask other people about places they've been to that they really like. And…Maybe people could talk about what they like or think makes for a good date? An Earth date, I mean!"

[Please don't mind the scowling boy behind her. Who seems to be mumbling something to the effect of,] "Why can't we just watch TV?"

Have you tried a good old fashioned dinner date? Or it's cheaper brother, the coffee date?

"I've...We've made dinner before, but I don't think it's the same thing."

[Sure, there's a nice buzz and feeling of satisfaction over producing a good meal...But definitely not the same thing she imagines when going out to eat.]

"Is there any place people usually go out on dates? Like...Ice cream shops, maybe?"

Literally anywhere you want. Fancy restaurant, fast food place, bar, hot dog stand. The whole idea of a date is to spend time together, so it doesn't matter where you go or what you do.

[Well, that is a MUCH simpler way of looking at it. Though not quite what she imagined.]

"I always thought it involved...Some sort of rules on where to go, or what to do?"

[TV hadn't been fully clear on how that worked, but that was the impression she got from it.]
