Okay, I've had it about up to here with this crap.

[ The masked blonde does not indicate where exactly 'here' is, but she does glare at the camera and take absolutely no notice of the people behind her giving her odd looks. Screw off, she needs to be Batgirl sometimes. Her assumed Standard American accent, though somewhat slurred by her aggravation, still manages to hide the New Jersey in her voice fairly well. ]

Shadows. Voices. I want to know who's heard and-or seen them, what's been tried to make them go away, and whether or not anyone has been hurt by them. If this is anything like the temperature shenanigans of last month it's only going to get worse, and our generous kidnappers haven't said a word.

[ And with a note of finality, as she's sure people are wondering what the hell she's wearing and why: ]

[Even now she has the feed running, there's a pause as though Rise's making a final decision as to how wise this is before nodding to herself and starting to speak]

All right. I'm still not sure what's going on here and I'm still not convinced this isn't connected to something else. Especially not with all these shadows around...and the voices...

[She shivers a little at that before brushing it aside and shifting to something more cheerful, not entirely faked but possibly a touch forced]

Anyway. My point is, I guess it's not going to hurt to get to know people while I'm here, especially with what we're here for. So, my name's Rise Kujikawa but if you're from Japan you might recognise me as Risette...if you pay attention to that sort of thing, I mean.

[It's like Mitsuru all over again only to a bigger audience]

Which leaves me with just one question: who's going to this festival thing? Sounds like it should be interesting, and a pretty good excuse to meet people too, right? So let me know if you're going and maybe we can meet up.
