Not being a fan of chocolates or real sweet things in general, he's chocolate free.

A little more courageous than usual, maybe, though you can't tell it right off. Courageous enough to maybe, you know, ask someone out. Steady out. Out out. Dating. Life partners. Daycare couple.

Anyway, the important thing is that he's got something to propose and someone to propose to and it's gonna be faaaaantastic and food filled. Pokégear, let's shine the spotlight! Man, it's still weird to use it like this!]

Hope everyone's lovey dovey day was cool, since for sad singles like myself it's just a cruel reminder of reality. [~Dramatic~] Anyway, since that's outta the way, I've got a plan.

[He pauses, idly twirling the flower hidden from view, and grins as he pushes Chobo away from his back with his free hand.]

A cook off. We got any aspirin' chefs or something like that? I figure that with so many kinds of people from all round the galaxy or whatever there's a ton of different flavors, so it'd be fun! For everyone! Especially me, 'cause I'm gonna be judgin' it!

And everything he needs is written all over his face. He looks hungry. Hungry and kind of embarrassed about it.

He's slow and cautious to approach the noodle stand- Weavile, by this point, has long since been sent out and is nowhere near him. He takes his time looking over the prices, and looks a little more discouraged at every price he sees- and the look on his face has clearly already gained the vendor's sympathy. This kid looks thin and disheveled. When was the last time he had a good meal?]

[Count Gold among the impressed. And jealous. He wants to embarrass Silver too, dammit, but that is neither here nor there alright. They're two different kinds of embarrassment and he's just gonna enjoy the play.

The vendor probably knows he shouldn't just give free food out to people - as sorry as he feels for the kid, his hesitant manner says his policy - but he's not looking anywhere but at Silver too. All and all, a pretty easy catch. Maybe the vendor could lower the prices a little? How's that sound?]

[A little lower? That would be a huge help, but Silver looks a little sheepish about accepting it. He... he should be able to afford his own food.

While he has the vendor's attention, Weavile's making off with a few pre-prepared containers of ramen to go. It's only once Weavile's safely taken off that he accepts his discount effort with a small nod and a quiet thank you.]

[The vendor waves off the gratitude - it's nothing, really, what goes around comes around - and Gold whistles lowly.

Guess that's what years and years of practice will getcha huh.]

No. [That's the cold hard truth.] A lot of em are pretty stingy, so you gotta plan accordingly.

I was worried the Masked Man was gonna come find me, so I did my best to never be spotted and never stay in one place.

[Which means he couldn't just walk up and earn loads of sympathy.]
