[The feed opens to Irene sitting in her office - there's a bit of sun coming in the window behind her and spreading across the desk, making the whole room seem warm and cheery.]

Hello! For those of you that I didn't meet on the first day, my name is Irene, and I'm the city's liaison to the arrivals from other worlds. It's a pleasure to meet you!

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for their hard work. It hasn't even been a month, and the city's energy levels are already picking up. Because of that, we expect to be able to re-energize and open the Third District to visitors soon.

But before we can do that, there's a few things that need to be done. I'm posting today to ask for volunteers to help power a number of generators throughout the district, which will then activate and negate the draining effect that is presently still active. There's three large generators and a number of smaller ones. If you are in good health and would like to participate, please gather at the bridges between Districts 2 and 3 early Sunday afternoon.

I'll also answer any questions you have about the operation at this time. Thank you again for all your help.

[She folds her hands at the bottom of the screen, waiting.]

[Cu Chulainn yelps and falls off of the chair he's been using so he could touch the screen. He had no idea it would make a woman pop up.]

[Slowly, he looks up to the woman in the screen.]

Who are you? What's a generator? Why do we need to volunteer?

I'm Irene - we met before when you arrived, remember?

[Her motherly smile is back in place - kids are adorable ok.]

The generators created energy for the city so that it can keep running when we send you all home. We're asking for volunteers because we don't want to push anyone who isn't feeling well into helping.

[He crawls up on his chair again.]

So that's how you make energy. Do we have to hug the generator then?

[He cocks his head.]

And how did you get inside this box?]

You just have to touch one of the panels on the top.

[At his other question, she smiles and tries not to laugh.]

I'm not inside the box. It's just showing you where I am now.

Wow, so you mean this is like some sort of...moving picture? Like a movie?

[He puts his hand on the screen.]

Where are the generators? I'll help!

[A small dark-haired head pops into view next to Cu Chulainn and peers at the screen.]

Oh! Hello Lady Irene!

[He waves at her, before turning to face his friend.]

Did Lord Devin show you how to use the magic boxes too?

A generator is a machine that makes energy. They're located in the Third District, but it's not safe to go over there yet.

Nope, I just poked it and it showed this woman.

[He looks up at the screen.]

Then when are we going?

[Diarmuid frowns slightly at the other boy.]

That is Lady Irene, not 'this woman.' Be nice to her! She is helping us!

[He turns back to the screen and smiles at Irene.]

Lady Irene, I want to help too! Is there something we can do even though we are little?

Of course! The district is opening in a few days - you can go over there and help out as much as you like.

[She smiles brightly.]

You two should probably stick close together, though. It's good that you've become friends.

Of course!

[He puts an arm around Diarmuid's shoulders.]

We'll stick close, Lady Irene!

[Diarmuid giggles when his friend puts his arm around him.]

I will stay close to him, Lady Irene! Someone has to keep him out of trouble! He likes throwing swords.

[He reaches up lightly pulls his friend's ponytail to show he's teasing.]
