[What appears first on the video isn't Sora, but the nose of a small (but growing!) kitten - one of the black cats that showed up a few months ago, it looks like, or one of their kittens. She sniffs around for a few seconds before Sora, who can be seen from a shaky overhead view, pulls her back a little, and she meows in protest.]

Hey, be careful with that! [Silly cat, always sticking her nose into things...hey, wait! He takes another look over, scooting the portable device closer to him when he realizes that it's on. Not just on, but recording!]

Geez...I just got this thing, and I don't even get to make the first post. [He turns to the cat and leans down close to her face, as if they're carrying on a conversation.] I was the one saving up for it, y'know.

[The cat's only response is to lick his nose, then once again position herself as obtrusively as possible between him and the camera. This is her show, thankyouverymuch.]

Well, fine, did you want to say hello?

[The cat meows again, which Sora is going to assume is kitty-speak for yes, and he laughs in the background as she continues to sniff at the screen and make noises, before finally licking the screen.

Apparently, it isn't at all to her tastes. She makes a disgruntled squeak before backing off, then running away to who-knows-where. Sora, apparently on his game today, laughs again and cleans the screen off with a cloth.] Just like Excalibur...

Man, do all cats do stuff like this, or is it just mine?

[If paws don't work, maybe noses will! She'll just squish her nose into the screen as far as she can - persistence will pay off, right?]

She actually wore it? Aw, and mine wouldn't even let me put a Christmas bow on her head.

[Yes, he legit tried that. And failed miserably.]

[something's got to work eventually! Mutie imitates that, but all that's accomplishing is pushing the device across the table, and Davesprite reaches out to grab it before it falls off.]

Yeah, well. I think he was pretty used to wearing shit after being in a suit for forever.

[for real. and being a ghost and a sprite probably meant Jaspers didn't notice.]

Start with something small, maybe? Or more solid? [~~or a pancake~~] Get her used to it.

[Thankfully, all Suna is managing to do is push the device into his pillow, so Sora isn't all as worried. She walks away anyway, though, disappointed when the cat on the other side suddenly vanishes.]

You mean, something like a really small hat?

[as soon as Mutie can see the screen again, there is a great deal of meowing. Where has the other cat gone, are they lost forever?]

Oh, god- Mutie, pipe down.

Yeah, pretty much. Anything she won't notice as much.

Yeah, I'll give that a try!

[And just as quickly as she vanished Suna perks up again, but Sora catches her before she can crawl over to the screen again. She's not at all happy about this.]

Now I want to hear the rest of that story, though.

Not a lot to it, really. We had these kernelsprite things to throw stuff into, so Rose threw in her cat and I put in this princess doll she had 'cause that seemed like a good idea. [it also had tentacles and she threw herself off the roof of the building, so.]

A...kernalsprite?

Uh. Right, so… We were playing this game. And you know how something, you get a guide that'll help you through? These things were like that, except you had to throw things into them before they were actually vaguely helpful in any way.

[Hey, Sora never said he was good at this.]

[He's had lots of things thrown at him before and it usually hurts!]

Not really. […there's reasons the kernelsprite seems to be attracted to dead or doomed things, though whether it hurts for them or not is probably not one of them.] Whatever got thrown in just… changed as soon as it got in.
