[This is the first time that Steve is making a video like this to everyone, but he has used this feature when talking to others on this network at least. So, he doesn't look too awkward as he talks into it.]

Know that this is a bit late, but wanted to thank the people who gave me these items for Christmas. [He shows a rather famous red, white and blue circular shield and a Captain America costume that was used during the USO tours.]

It's real thoughtful of you. [He smiles a little, completely honest in his words.] However, the outfit is a bit too uh- big for me. Couldn't get it on without drowning in it, to be honest. So I'm wondering if anyone wants it, don't have much of a use for it myself and I wouldn't want it to go to waste.

[He looks down at the shield for a moment, feeling somewhat attached to it despite himself.] I'm keepin' the shield though, never know when something like this could come in handy...

[ooc: Feel free to fourth wall him or point out that those are Captain America stuff. Tony has already spilled the beans about it.]

It really doesn't fit you? [If it came to him as a gift from home one would think it ought to but Matthew doesn't know the half of it.]

If you do let Al wear it, maybe just lend it to him until you need it, eh?

Don't think it'd fit even if I shrunk it three times. [And Steve doesn't really want to do that.]

I can get behind that, letting it have some use until I might fit it someday. [Although Steve's not sure he'd wear that outfit even then.] I'll try to eat more vegetables in the mean time.

Not that you aren't perfectly fine the way you are! You seem like a really good person.

[He smiles, not offended by the comment at all.] Definitely not the strongest guy around, but just gotta try my best still. Think that's somethin' everyone can do at least.

Spirit definitely makes a difference. I've seen before with my own eyes. Even a strong man won't accomplish as much if he doesn't have heart.

Yes, I'm Canada. When you're a nation you get to see some of the very best of humanity over the years. Sometimes people say they wish they were nations too so they could say they're "special" but really it's us who are in awe of regular humans.

I think America sees something great in you. Anytime you're mentioned his face lights up. Oh and don't tell him I told you that.
