Second Freedom Ring | Visual and/or Action -Pick one or both parts
PART 1- BACKDATED TO SEP 29
[visual or action if you're in the area]
[Those checking the video feed can tell America is running through the streets. If they're currently in District 2 they might see him run by. He doesn't look at all cheerful like usual.]
I'm sending out this message in case something happens to me. I'm heading again to the government headquarters and this time they better have answers. I agreed to do what I could to help this city, but I can't sit around and act like they haven't been sneaky after what I discovered this morning.
For those of you who know my fellow nations brought here, you might have noticed that many of us have disappeared within the last month. I haven't heard from Germany, Spain, or Switzerland for a long time now and I'm not sure where Italy is right now. Canada was living in the apartment across the hall from me but mysteriously disappeared during the Festival. He returned. He seemed normal aside from suffering like many of us did from temperature problems for a week.
Ever since he came back from disappearing I kept an eye out for him -to make sure that unexplained disappearance didn't happen again. But this morning he wasn't there in bed and Kumajirou has gone too. And I would have seen if someone came to take them because I was there in the same apartment but I didn't- I was asleep. [He grimaces.] They took them away quietly in the middle of the night and I was right there! That deserves explaining! Why would you take them like that if you didn't have something to hide?
[Up ahead he can see the Government Building. There are guards out in front but that doesn't stop him. He runs up to the front and starts yelling his demands. It's easy to hear over the video feed and easily heard in the surrounding area in district 2. The guards don't seem too happy with his shouting.]
Hey! I'm tired of being left in the dark! You've kept one too many secrets from your visitors! I demand to talk to the person in charge of the city! NOW!
PART 2- OCTOBER 8
[visual or action if you're at the hospital]
[What had become of America's attempt to get answers? He didn't disappear at all between the end of the month and now. It seemed that somewhere in the chaos he had collapsed for unexplained reasons. At last, over a week later, he wakes in a hospital bed and greets Saeng Seong again. Has he had any visitors during his coma?]
[As much as he wanted to find out the mystery of the city, he was disappointed to wake up in the Saeng Seong hospital and not back home. Still groggy and not at all with his wits about him, he sends out a video feed on the network.]
Can someone tell me what that date is? How long have I been out? Last thing I remember I was at the government building.
[He ends the video feed and starts to look around the room for any sign of familiar faces.]

[He ends the video feed and starts to look around the room for any sign of familiar faces.]
video;
I take it that things didn't go well back there.
video;
No things barely went at all. I made my way into the building but I suddenly grew weak and collapsed.
video;
Similar to how we suddenly lost energy when we ventured into the restricted district?
video;
I haven't wandered into a restricted district and collapsed before so I can't say it's exactly the same but perhaps they have something like that set up to keep us out of certain places even within districts that are open. Guess we'll have to collect more information to find out if that's possible with their technology though I wouldn't be surprise- [He coughs, forcing him to pause and consider his situation.]
Then again, there's another possibility. I don't get sick like regular humans unless there's a problem at home or it's an effect of Saeng Seong. Right now I'm feeling under the weather. I'd guess either it's a nation problem or I'm just starting to feel the withdrawal symptoms.
video;
But at that comment, Steve looked concerned.] Something is happening back in America? I could give you a handshake or hug if you're starting to feel withdrawal symptoms though. [He didn't mind, it would be to make someone feel better.]
video;
[He gives Steve a reassuring smile.] Whatever happened at home, I'm sure they'll find a way through it. Otherwise... If you don't mind coming to the hospital it would be really helpful. Seeing as I was out for a week, I better get some contact soon. [He glances off screen towards the doorway to his room.] You'll know it's my room by the guy standing guard outside.
video;
I don't mind at all. [He was glad that he could help in some way.] I'll leave right now.
video;
[As he waits he has a look around the room. It seems there's a switch in reach next to his bed and he flips it on to see what happens. At the foot of his bed a screen lights up revealing his medical chart. In clear writing it's noted the reason for his collapse is unknown to the doctors.]
action
He eventually finds the room where America was staying at, it was easy to locate since the guy outside was there as he said would be, and Steve didn't waste any time before walking inside.]
action
Hey Man! Thanks for coming! I got a little worried there that the guy outside wouldn't let any visitors in.

Don't be shy Private. Think of it as being patriotic.
no subject
Don't wanna let my country down.
no subject
[He returns the hug though he also gives Steve a few rough pats on the back to make it a more "manly" embrace to help save them both from further embarrassment.]
You know I've hugged nearly all the presidents before too.
no subject
Really? [Guess it's not too surprising, since he's the spirit of America and all. But it's still amazing to hear.] That sorta a tradition of yours?
no subject
[He laughs.] Seen a lot of people act a little goofy in their joy over the years. Those are some of the best memories.
