1st Punch [Video]
[Akihiko is standing in front of a terminal, musing for a few minutes on what he wants to say to the others. After he makes up his mind, he touches the screen to access the network.]
Hey, everyone. Listen up!
You all know what we have to do. Being stubborn about it is just gonna get you killed, so don’t even bother wasting your time. We don’t have to hang off of each other all the time! Stick with your friends, or just go shake someone’s hand every once in a while. This energy problem affects everyone, and there’s no sense in making things worse.
[He’s not happy about being stuck in some foreign city either, completely cut off from home, but there’s a mission to complete here. The sooner they get it done and over with, the sooner they can all go back home. Right?]
So, c’mon, guys! [Akihiko lifts his arms and punches one fist into the opposite open palm, while maintaining a confident look on his face.] Let’s help each other out, okay?

Office jobs are definitely ideal! It sure as hell beats working at a fast food place. I've heard some complaints about retail too.
...Yeah, I worked as a waitress for a little while. It was kind of terrible. [Especially the cook's food.]
[He'd be more disbelieving if not for his experiences with the Dark Hour.]
Was it the customers? We did work experience for a week, back in our second year. I worked at a couple of restaurants on the strip. Hagakure was all right, but Wild Duck Burger got a little crazy sometimes.
Re: [video]
[Or unless the spirit is, you know, Dahlia Hawthorne. But that's a conversation for another day. Week. Month.]
Nnno, we... didn't really get any customers at Tres Bien. There had been a murder there that we were investigating, and uh, the food was really... bad.
[As long as you’re not Phoenix… Run far away from the cray cray lady…]
Oh, is that a French restaurant? [Mitsuru would be so proud of him for trying to keep up with his language skills.] Sheesh, a murder… So that case was handled by the cops, right? Lawyers aren’t usually involved in the investigation itself.
...Um... they don't? We usually have to collect evidence ourselves. The police work for the prosecution, so the defence always kinda has to work a little harder.
We... sort of had to do it a month later, though. S-someone impersonated Phoenix and got our client a wrongful verdict!
[And boy had that impersonator scared the ever-loving shit out of her.]
Hmm... I'll have to ask Officer Kurosawa what his process is, the next time I see him. [Whenever that's gonna be.]
Whoa! So did you guys try him again? Or did double jeopardy apply?
The person I channel most is my sister, and I trust her most of all!
And we soooo got him. Since they tried her without a bona-fide defence attorney, our client got a retrial!
[video] sorry for the late tag! ;.;
[His mood is a bit subdued, but still mostly positive.] Justice usually wins out in the end… So these criminals should really think twice before they do anything stupid.
[video] no problem at all!
But like I said, I trust sis-- and Nick too. And we've always won when the defendant's innocent, anyway.
That can be kinda hard to discern, but if you’re sure, then that’s good. Some people are really skilled at hiding their true intentions. [Thinking of the Chairman here… He had them fooled for years, man.]
Me an' sis just write letters-- but it'd be a pain to run the whole thing on letters, I think.
Annnd yeah, your'e right. But sis always told nick to just believe in our defendants, no matter what. If they're innocent, it'll all work out. You know, truth and justice and all that.
