[Akihiko is standing in front of a terminal, musing for a few minutes on what he wants to say to the others. After he makes up his mind, he touches the screen to access the network.]

Hey, everyone. Listen up!

You all know what we have to do. Being stubborn about it is just gonna get you killed, so don’t even bother wasting your time. We don’t have to hang off of each other all the time! Stick with your friends, or just go shake someone’s hand every once in a while. This energy problem affects everyone, and there’s no sense in making things worse.

[He’s not happy about being stuck in some foreign city either, completely cut off from home, but there’s a mission to complete here. The sooner they get it done and over with, the sooner they can all go back home. Right?]

So, c’mon, guys! [Akihiko lifts his arms and punches one fist into the opposite open palm, while maintaining a confident look on his face.] Let’s help each other out, okay?

Well, when we know the spirit has the possibility to be too strong for us to handle, we have safeguards-- locked rooms, puzzle locks... And besides.

The person I channel most is my sister, and I trust her most of all!

That’s smart… [His expression suddenly softens when he hears a certain part of her response.] Your sister, huh…? I’m sorry to hear that… [He manages a small, tentative smile of reassurance.] But it’s great that you can still talk to her.

[His mood is a bit subdued, but still mostly positive.] Justice usually wins out in the end… So these criminals should really think twice before they do anything stupid.

Still sounds completely fantastic and out there, but it’s not like he hasn’t dealt with supernatural elements before.] Do you know any other mediums? Maybe the spirits could talk to each other, if they have any unfinished business.

That can be kinda hard to discern, but if you’re sure, then that’s good. Some people are really skilled at hiding their true intentions. [Thinking of the Chairman here… He had them fooled for years, man.]

Well, I mean, I know lots of mediums, but Pearly's the only one I'm with all the time. But I can't really ask her to do that. She's still really young.

Me an' sis just write letters-- but it'd be a pain to run the whole thing on letters, I think.

Annnd yeah, your'e right. But sis always told nick to just believe in our defendants, no matter what. If they're innocent, it'll all work out. You know, truth and justice and all that.
