I have been doing a poor job of attempting to follow a friend's advice. To try different things.

So I am... in need of some advice of how to properly. [Pauses.] How to find enjoyable activities. To r-word.

The usual methods have not been a sufficient method.

[Wow, it's a good thing this is private because he'd hate for anyone else to hear the utter confusion in his voice. Things just aren't adding up here.]

It's a long story, but the face you usually see is my armor. The voice you hear is what it really sounds like.

[He's got nothing to say and he knows it. Wing at least has the decency to feel a wave of shame wash over him. This is his mistake, and he knows he has to fix it somehow. He wants to say that he had said it without thinking, and that he didn't consider it that big of a deal, but he knows an excuse when he sees one. He's better than that.]

It was wrong of me to mention it outside of our conversation, and for that I am terribly sorry. I... I hope things didn't go wrong between you two.

He wants to talk to me and I don't even know what to say to him! I was ready to leave well enough alone, and now there's this.

On top of everything that's happened, this is not what I want to be dealing with. Are you pleased with yourself? I already know I had no intentions of interfering with whatever intentions you have with him and Drift, and now you've gone and done this!

Never meddle in my personal affairs, what few that they are. Do you understand?

[Wing quietly bears the blunt of Minimus' anger and disappointment. He deserves it.]

I understand, Ultra Magnus. Minimus Ambus.

But... I have to ask... Why are you so intent on doing nothing? Is that because you are Minimus? Magnus? Both? What are you afraid of?

Because-- for a multitude of reasons! I don't have time for things like romance, I have work, I have to look after this crew, it's a mess, I--

[Because he is Minimus Ambus. He isn't desirable. He isn't a lot of things.]

Why would you even ask me that? Didn't you ask me for advice on how to approach him?

[There's a moment of silence as Wing carefully thinks about Minimus' reaction to his questions.]

Your work ethic isn't the only part of you that is valuable. I think you are a wonderful person, and you deserve whatever happiness you find in life.

And if that happiness is Ratchet, then...

You think I'm a what.

I... [He hesitates.] Ratchet doesn't feel the same way. I wouldn't-- I wouldn't even know what to do.

I think you're a wonderful person. I have not known you for very long, but you are strong, resolute, organized, loyal, kind, and so many other wonderful things. There are reasons to love you, one doesn't need to look too far.

It's not as though Drift and I have staked our claim on Ratchet or anything. If you wish to pursue him, then you can. I'm happy as long as you both are happy.

All I can suggest now is spending time with him. These things don't happen overnight.
