♡ Call 004 [video]
So I've had a thought, and it might seem silly, but I figure it's worth a shot!
[Usually, when she gets that kind of look in her eye, it's not the kind of thought that's going to leave her- or anyone else- alone for a good long while.]
I know a lot of us are here alone, and that's bad enough- but it's even worse on a birthday! So I figure while the calendar here might not match the ones from your homes, and it might take some finagling to figure it out...
Maybe we could set up some kind of committee or something- so people don't have to spend their birthdays alone!
[Cupid what.]
Of course, I'd have to make sure people would be willing to give their birthdays up first, but I mean...
[A bright, hopeful grin.]
Who doesn't love free cake, right?

[A chuckle.]
Look, I don't know if you realize, but I don't mean loose associations here- I mean her dad is the actual, original Mad Hatter.
[A pause, and then-]
But I guess you'd have to believe in that and all first...
[She ponders a moment, looking thoughtful, and then-]
Okay, fine. Coffee for me, belated birthday cupcake for you!

[Which, you know... books.]
You're not-- not going to say, I don't know. I know we're all alternate worlds and stuff, but are you going to play the "all fiction is an alternate universe frequency to the writer's brain" theory?
[Not that that'll stop him from
cake buying her a coffee.]Just say when. There's a place at the mall I like a lot.

[Honestly, she hasn't considered it.]
All I'm saying is I go to a school full of fairy tales, so... you know. I have a little insight.
[It wouldn't stop her either tbh]
Free the day after tomorrow?
Re: video;
Alice isn't a fairy tale. Now, Wizard of Oz was written to be a sort of American "wonder tale," but--
[Shut up, nerd.]
Yeah. I want to hear all about your adventures in Wonderland, too. More of a tea guy myself.
video;
[But she laughs anyway. Oh, mortals and their technicalities.]
Haven't actually been to Wonderland... but I can definitely tell you about the Mad Hatter's tea shop, if you'd like.
