[Surprise! For once, Lightning is not in full armor, but in civilian clothing. A beige long-sleeved top in fact, from what can be seen in the video.]

This is Lightning-- I work at the chocobo barn. [Actually, it's a little obvious, with the small bright red feather in her pink hair.] I heard there was another nest of eggs while I was away, and some people have already claimed them.

If you're one of the owners of the chicks from whatever batch, or you just own one of the chocobos in the barn, let me know, so I can keep track of how many birds we have here, and who they're with. [And so she wont glare at you suspiciously if she sees you visit the barn or wander around with a chick.]

What are your thoughts on racing?

You mean chocobo racing. never seen it, but I know that somewhere in my world, a place holds chocobo races on a regular basis.

Nor I; but I've heard it suggested oft enough by some of the new owners.

Do they take well to it? I'd only ever seen them used as plowbeasts and war mounts.

They'll be fine-- they're probably competitive enough to be fine with races.

[At least the ones she's seen, anyway.] And I guess it's enough of an exercise for them, since we're not allowed out of the city to ride them.

I suppose the less crowded city streets might suffice for a trail... I only hope that the birds would not be a nuisance.

[Still, it didn't seem like all that bad of an idea.]

Perhaps if we were to make a path somewhere...

Or we simply ask for a place to race. [She doesn't particularly relish asking the city officials for anything but... They cant have people suddenly wandering onto their makeshift track just because they don't know what's going on.]

They were generous enough to allow us land for the barn; I did not think it prudent to press the limits of their good will.

I would not know where it could even be placed.
