01 ➳ video ♫ action prompt
Greetings, fellow... "guests" of our mostly benevolent "hosts."
[She still seems rather unsure about that, but the uneasiness is pushed aside rather easily.]
My name is Y'akeno Lhea, and with a handful of others having what already mentioned it, I would like to extend my services as well. Do you have that special someone here you wish to give a gift to? Or mayhap a special friend to celebrate this... "Singles Awareness" with? Whether it may be clothing, candies, jewelry or armor, I can guarantee high quality and handcrafted items on time for the 14th!
[As proof, she holds up a few necklaces and a pair of earrings as an example. Though those in the common area of Building 2 Floor 4 will see she's set up a corner that already has a couple mannequins with leatherwork and hand-woven clothing in it.]
Feel free to visit me on the fourth floor in the second apartment building if you would like to see more examples.

Feel free to visit me on the fourth floor in the second apartment building if you would like to see more examples.
action;
Whoa!
[It's more of a knee-jerk reaction than anything, both ears flattening against her skull as she jumps in her seat and both hands curl up into little fists in front of her chest. Holy shit what was that he seems so nice why suddenly black coats he doesn't smell of the blood a thaumaturge uses in their rites.
She saw a coat like that once before, and it generally had meant bad news bears.
Eventually (read: once her brain catches up with what she's seeing) she shakes it off, composing herself.]
S-sorry. You startled me for a moment there.
[He may have been very lucky that she didn't have her bow nearby - just her goldsmith hammer and a dagger.]
action;
[He then tugs at the hem of one of his sleeves as a faint look of distaste crosses his face, his gaze turned on the black garment he's wearing.] If this thing weren't as useful as it is, I would've burned it by now.
[Another pause, and he looks back at her with a wry smile.] Well, I would've tried to burn it. This thing would probably survive the attempt.
action;
[She tries to wave it off, but ends up flailing more than waving. Hey, it's his fashion choice! She wasn't gonna try and judge him for it.]
... Tough coat.
[Somewhere in the back of her mind, there is a mental note to ask the resident black mage in training how big a boom could be made to attempt to burn a coat like this. For now though, there were more pressing matters.] You had a drrawing for me?
action;
Another blink, and then he laughs quietly to himself.] That's right.
[He crosses the distance between the two of them easily enough, pulling a folded sheet of paper out of his pocket as he does. Once he's within arms reach, he hands the paper over.] It's not very complicated, so it should be simple enough to make.
[He hopes. He's not entirely sure how one would make it.]
action;
In theory, yes.
[She looks up for a moment, nodding.] How many would you like, and in what colour?
action;
[It wouldn't do to ask for gold, silver, or brass if she didn't have those metals available.]
action;
[She goes back behind a couch again, obviously looking into a satchel of sorts and looking at different ores.]
Tin, copper, iron, a little silver...
I can make copper, brass, iron, and silver. Otherwise I can also dye them to the proper colours depending.
action;
[Getting a small flash of inspiration, he reaches into his pocket and pulls out his Wayfinder to show her the mark in the center.] Four of them should be about the same size this one is - the brass, and three of the silver. The other two silver should be smaller, about the size of an earring.
[Yep. Someone has plans for these.]
action;
Alrigh'. Depending on how many orders are placed,I should be able to have 'em done by the end of th' week.

But only a little. He cherished that Wayfinder and the bond it represented enough that any embarrassment over the appearance of the trinket was easily brushed away.
At the spoken timeline of a week, he looks... relieved? Grateful? Some mix of those, even as he's putting the wayfinder back into his pocket.] Thanks. I appreciate it.

Wait! Mayhap I see that a moment?

I can tell... the binding on this side is a little loose.
[But... what was that shimmer-?
...She could feel a headache coming on, and it's obvious that she was about to say something when the pain suddenly intensified.]

[It's hard to miss a connection forming like that, or the light glow that his wayfinder was emitting. A D-link, now? What could...
Before he can contemplate what could have forged the link any further, he notices the tell-tale signs of an oncoming headache from Y'akeno.
Going from confusion to concern. The strange, sudden bond with his heart can wait.] Y'akeno? Are you all right?
1/2
But she recognized that person, the one with the blue hair--and that was Terra! And what was she giving him and the other boy?
That charm? An unbreakable connection?]
no subject
A-Aye. I just... blanked out for a second.
[How does she explain her visions? ...Well, may as well just make mention with her curiosity. as she gets out her tools.]
How did your Exam go, pray tell?
no subject
[He casts a quick Cure spell nonetheless, just to ease some of that pain; he's no stranger to sudden migraines, and the healing magic of the spell works wonders, in his experience.
He blinks at the question, the confusion back full-force.] My Exam? What are you--
[He cuts himself off when the realization hits him - there's only one exam she could be talking about. But his surprise gives way to confusion again - he never mentioned his Mark of Mastery exam to her. He'd only barely mentioned the basics of how a Keyblade works.] How did you know about that?
[Terra, you should probably answer the question.]
no subject
It... is a gift I have. [How to explain this when even she doesn't fully know how to?] You know how your sword-thing can break through barriers? I can do so too with my consciousness, though I... can't control when.
no subject
[That would explain the sudden D-link, and it's absence now that her headache was gone. And if she couldn't control it...
But did that mean that the D-link was still there, only inactive? He could test it later, and make sure he warns her first.] Do those headaches always start when your gift activates?
