[Seventeen mortal days. Seventeen days and he had yet to find a way out of here. So many of his plans seemingly ruined by a group of mortals with more power than they rightfully should have. He had looked and crept around, looking for whatever brought him here, but there were no buildings as conspicuous as the Bi-fröst or any devices as strange as the device to harness the Teseract. In fact, they couldn't have the Teseract, that was safely on Asgard, and there should be no other mystical artifacts like it in the universe.

So, how did he come to be here? After much debate, Loki decided to turn to his fellow prisoners. He did not do so without much thought, what were the chances of any of these having even an infinitesimal amount of knowledge of multi-dimensional, magical physics? He has found an access point for the network, and is sitting as comfortably as possible, when he feels quite ill. In fact, as soon as he turns on the feed, he sneezes... straight into a teacup, splashing brown liquid in his face. Oops, it appears that this god of mischief hasn't been keeping up with the required amount of physical contact]

My apologies. [he manages to get a handkerchief from his pocket and wipe his nose. He has been ill in the past, but his is different, he can feel his powers drain and he feels tired. This is more than the sniffles] What diseases are native to this land? Has anyone made an advance study of them?

[he clears his throat, which had gone a little hoarse] Now, for the other reason of this message. I am forced to conclude that this universe is not the universe I am from. Unless one has found whatever device or artifact was used to bring us here.

[The comm went off, and in a few minutes, Naoto came down, carrying a thermos as well as a second tea cup. She glanced around before spotting the young man, and then tipped her hat towards him.]

Good day... I believe you were the on the Network needing assistance?

[Loki is surprised by the young woman's offer. At least she was being matter of fact about it. He could deal with that]

Yes. [he looks up. Loki may look young, but he is much older than he appears, the benefits of growing up on Asgard]

[Naoto was nothing if not matter of fact, blunt, tactless... etc. She moves over to the gentleman, offering him a small smile.]

My name is Naoto Shirogane. I noticed you were having some issues with your tea, so I saw fit to bring some along as well. My I have a seat?

[he could deal with blunt people]

I am Loki. [Liesmith? Laufeyson? Odinson? He didn't know and didn't want to contemplate last name. ~~So now he's Cher.~~] Feel free. [he gestures at the seat]

[Loki... Naoto knew that name; it was one of Senpai's Personas, and she made a point to research any of the ones she heard him use in battle. The Norse God of Lies and Trickery, at first friend to Odin and Thor, but due to the death of Baldr, caused by Loki's actions, he was bound to the roots of the world tree, with a serpent dripping venom onto his face until the coming of Ragnarok in which he'd fight against the Gods themselves.

One did not take the name Loki without taking all that into consideration. She'd need to be careful of the gentleman. ~~Unless he called himself that to seem cool. There was that possibility as well.~~ Still, she'd be cautious, but courteous. No need to get on a possible god's bad side.

Taking a seat, Naoto loosened the cap on the thermos, putting down her own tea cup.]

I chose earl grey-- I don't know if that's your preferred type, but please feel welcome to take some.

[Pouring herself a cup, she sat back, gently taking a sip of the tea before continuing.]

If you're in need of touch, a hand shake can usually hold someone well enough for a week or so. 30 seconds seems to be a good amount of time, and we could time it if you wish it to be no more or less than that.

Tea would be good. He doesn't know what Earl Grey is, but what he could smell from here sounded good. He hesitated a moment before taking the thermos and pouring some out into his tea cup. He actually didn't know where the tea cup came from, he must have picked it up some where.]

I have never tried it. [honesty, sometimes the best lies. He finishes pouring out his tea and sets the thermos back down. A Midgardian invention to keep hot liquids warm, amazing. He lifts the cup to his face and breathes in the tea slowly. It smelled good and the steam prevented a sneeze he could feel building. He carefully took a sip. Ah, so it was a strong black tea with a hint of citrus. Finding it appealing he continued to drink for a moment.

Even though the tea was pleasing, he didn't throw the cup to the floor and demand another. He never understood why Thor did that.]

Is thirty seconds truly enough? [he could deal with that, and keeping it professional, yes, that worked well. No need for sentiments.]

It's enough to maintain your health and keep any powers you may have in check- those with magical or super human abilities tend to feel as if their powers are dulled or not working properly after about a week, while the cold sets in for the magically inclined and un-inclined a like after two weeks. However...

[Taking a small sip of her tea to gather her thoughts, she nodded.]

Getting touch consistently for longer does assure better health over all. 30 seconds is the bare minimum. Also as a note, it doesn't need to be affectionate touch; fighting hand to hand also seems to do the trick. It also doesn't need to be skin to skin-- touch through clothing seems to work as well.

[She and Kanji did a good deal of experimentation in their first few weeks here, after all...]

A spar would be better than just grasping hands. [He was raised on Asgard, of course spring would be better.] However, is there anyone with strength above that of a human? [not that he really cares, but it wouldn't do for him to start breaking people]

[His question came as not a surprise to her; so he was then either the God Loki himself, or related enough that he could take on the name without fear. Well, this wasn't a time to show weakness, then, or uncertainty.]

Several people here are above average human strength, to even leaps and bounds. You're best bet I'd wager would be to seek out Shura; she is quite the bruiser and enjoys a good bout. There are others though, I'm sure.

[She was not so inclined to mention her friends and the other Persona Users, however; Loki didn't need to know of that quite yet. Shura, on the other hand, could think to take on the Creator God, so Loki shouldn't be too much of an issue...]
