[So. It's raining.
Nevermind the odd and frankly bizarre side effect the rain seems to cause, but nevertheless during this time of the month? It's also freezing. Both are a unique combination this kid is not used to, being from what practically amounts as a desert planet. Naturally a cold was bound to happen sooner or later, and it doesn't help that he hasn't exactly met his physical contact quota recently; although, he hasn't quite taken that part into account yet.
So, when he makes a post, he sticks with text for now. Trying to speak - let alone sing - with a cold was already enough as it is.]
Does anyone know good ways for dealing with a cold? Specifically any home remedies that've worked for you in the past?
[He's about to type more when suddenly a sneeze abruptly cuts off that train of thought. ... It's a good thing he went with text here!]
Anything you have to offer would be appreciated.

Now, Gold doesn't mind his singing voice and all, but he ain't gonna deal with that when he's gotta funner things in mind. Like giving some crazy advice of his own. Some of them are true stories, but most of them are just there to see if the kid'll do it.]
my mom used to hang me over the wall and claimed the sicknessd fall right out of me. only when the sun was shining tho its bad when its raining like it is rite now.
you could try that still if you wanna or something but id probably go with one of the other two mom used to do for me.
so she'd get a bath ready for me rite?? this wouldnt be anything weird except that it was like, boiling hot. steam and everything. turned my skin red as a krabbys shell! apparently it like, chased the illness out and clear your nose and junk.
the second you could probably do is gargling hot sauce. its a cold, so you have to chase it out!
[Oh, it's a blessing this is all text, because he's cackling quietly to himself.]

[Water that hot would just outright scald someone, wouldn't it? Then again, this kid could just be speaking figuratively too...]
I'll keep that in mind. Still, hot sauce? ... Never heard of that one. Did that really work for you?
[text]
yea it did!! its definitely a sure fire way to get rid of sickness.

... I think I'd sooner take the hot tea and whiskey, thanks. [There are many types of food Rudy likes. Spicy food is not one of them, sadly. It's mind-boggling enough to imagine gargling it as a remedy...!] I'm surprised you can handle all that. The spiciness doesn't bother you at all?
[text]
im used to spiciness so nope! my mom makes these great volcano dinners back home, and ive always used the hot sauce remedy to get over whatever sickness i had, so it isnt anything big for me.
but if you cant handle that then an even better way is chewing on a stick of cinnamon.
