[So. It's raining.
Nevermind the odd and frankly bizarre side effect the rain seems to cause, but nevertheless during this time of the month? It's also freezing. Both are a unique combination this kid is not used to, being from what practically amounts as a desert planet. Naturally a cold was bound to happen sooner or later, and it doesn't help that he hasn't exactly met his physical contact quota recently; although, he hasn't quite taken that part into account yet.
So, when he makes a post, he sticks with text for now. Trying to speak - let alone sing - with a cold was already enough as it is.]
Does anyone know good ways for dealing with a cold? Specifically any home remedies that've worked for you in the past?
[He's about to type more when suddenly a sneeze abruptly cuts off that train of thought. ... It's a good thing he went with text here!]
Anything you have to offer would be appreciated.

To say naught of its relief on days so cold and wet. Though I would not be surprised if the weather first left you in such a state.
[Though if he was sick from the rain...]
Are you well enough to tend to yourself?
[text]
[With all that rain going on, it's probably not that far off an assumption anyway.]
I think I'm just not used to weather like this. But I'm sure it'll pass sooner or later.
[text]
[Strange, though; he hadn't seen many text messages on the terminals since he'd arrived...]
Have we met? I am Ramza Beoulve. I arrived last month.
[text]
[Normally he'd use the other functions but... well, right now would be a little awkward. And thinking about it now, simply typing everything was a lot less strange looking versus talking into it. Now that would look strange. It was a handy device either way - an awful lot like something Emma would cook up, he's sure...!]
Don't think we have. I'm Rudy Roughnight. Think I got here about a month before you, though can't say I'm completely used to everything here yet.

[Not to mention poor fighting conditions, but that didn't warrant much discussion.]
A pleasure, Rudy. And I cannot fault you for it... this world has wonders and curiosities naught like my own. These terminals alone would be an unthinkable marvel in my homeland, yet here I see them on every street corner!
[text]
[But maybe not this much.]
You tell me. And they all work perfectly too... [Normally tech like this doesn't exactly work right out the box back home, so to say. A thousand years of non-use will do that.] It'd be neat to figure out how they work.
[text] with apologies for the delay
[To say nothing of the technology...]
I would know naught of it. Such machines have always been beyond my ken.
[Not to mention the last time he tried to take control of one he ended up with a close friend in critican condition...]
Have you the knack for such things?
