[Compared to his last network announcement America looks much healthier and far happier. He's sitting in his apartment as he speaks over the video feed. His pet goldfish are in a fish bowl behind him.]
I want to send out a thank you to everyone who supported me during my time in the hospital. I was released after recovery and questioning on a good note though it seems the reason for my collapse had nothing to do with Saeng Seong. I have been assured that Canada and the others were returned home safely. AHAHAHA! [Eye twitch. Yeah he still has his suspicions.]
[He clears his throat.] But on to another topic that I feel needs addressing...
Tell me I'm not the only one here who noticed that the closest thing they have to burgers in this world are sad pieces of flavored tofu between pieces of bread. All the beef you ever see is served as steak- hey I love my T-bone but really there are no true American hamburgers here.
I intend to change that! [He puffs out his chest.]
Starting today I'll be looking into locations and suppliers to start a gourmet burger joint here in the city. For all my fellow Americans, I hope to provide you with a little taste of home, and for the rest of you a taste of awesome!
Eventually I'll need employees, and I'm extending an invitation first to my fellow visitors to consider working for me. If you're interested let me know what your experience and skills are.
I'm sure this burger joint will be a great opportunity for us to meet the locals and find out more about them and their city. [This is followed by a very obvious wink wink nudge nudge.]

Buuut that thought was pushed aside as the gentleman introduced himself.]
Uh, America? Your parents named you after the country?
[Maybe it was a codename thing?]
I'm not named after the country. I am the country.
[Video] 1/3
[Gears slowly turning...]
[Video] 2/3
[Realization of what he just said starting to compute...]
[Video] 3/3!
What the?! THE COUNTRY?!
[Junpei's brain goes Pop!]

You didn't find it weird I was talking about the disappearance of some of my fellow nations when I sent out this feed?
[Oh Junpei! Clearly you're the funny one not realizing countries could be people right away. HAHA!]
no subject
[He's holding his head a little. Oh ow, his brain...]
S-so wait, how does that work? You're a person but you're a country too? ...D-does that mean there's a Japan out there?!
no subject
I'm like the spirit of America with a human body. I've got the strength of the American people in me and I'm connected to the land and the citizens.
Japan is one of my good friends actually! He lends me video games and I show him cool horror movies! [He forces him to watch them with him like he does other friends.]

[And oddly enough... that made sense to Junpei. Cause well, if he could produce a Persona from his head that was part of his own self and soul or whatever, could it be possible that like, an entire nation could produce their own?
Though uh, he'd have thought America would be more...built. If you're going by stereotypes.]
I... I guess that makes sense, yeah.
[Junpei nodded, though he still was reeling a bit. Even though he couldn't help but grin at the movie comment.]
Man, I love American B-movies! They're so cheesy and awesome!

You get it? Cool! You get it! It's not that hard to understand really. Just the fact that we exist tends to be the part people really have to grapple with.
[He nods to himself and crosses his arms.]
You watch American movies? Great! I would tell you to come over to watch some with me but there's nothing but Saeng Seong films available. It's just not the same.
no subject
Ahhahaa... I can understand why that'd be. But nah, dude, I get it!
[He's not explaining yet WHY he gets it. America probably wouldn't react well to seeing Junpei hold his gun-shaped evoker to his head and firing to summon Trismegistus, would he?]
Yeah dude, we do get them dubbed over in Japan! I love a good American film--
You know, I haven't even watched much of the movies here...
[Now he was curious as to what they were like!]

The movies here are okay but it's all hit and miss. Some of 'em have cool stories and others are really boring. They don't have the best special effects either- they're like twenty or thirty years behind in quality which is a bummer. You'd think they'd have the best CGI with all their fancy technology.
ahahahaha i'm sorry this is so late
Oh man, that far behind? That's so weird! I mean, not that it can't be good for a laugh sometimes, but if you wanna take it seriously, it's probably knock you right out of the flow of the film.
