[Compared to his last network announcement America looks much healthier and far happier. He's sitting in his apartment as he speaks over the video feed. His pet goldfish are in a fish bowl behind him.]

I want to send out a thank you to everyone who supported me during my time in the hospital. I was released after recovery and questioning on a good note though it seems the reason for my collapse had nothing to do with Saeng Seong. I have been assured that Canada and the others were returned home safely. AHAHAHA! [Eye twitch. Yeah he still has his suspicions.]

[He clears his throat.] But on to another topic that I feel needs addressing...

Tell me I'm not the only one here who noticed that the closest thing they have to burgers in this world are sad pieces of flavored tofu between pieces of bread. All the beef you ever see is served as steak- hey I love my T-bone but really there are no true American hamburgers here.

I intend to change that! [He puffs out his chest.]

Starting today I'll be looking into locations and suppliers to start a gourmet burger joint here in the city. For all my fellow Americans, I hope to provide you with a little taste of home, and for the rest of you a taste of awesome!

Eventually I'll need employees, and I'm extending an invitation first to my fellow visitors to consider working for me. If you're interested let me know what your experience and skills are.

I'm sure this burger joint will be a great opportunity for us to meet the locals and find out more about them and their city. [This is followed by a very obvious wink wink nudge nudge.]

"I-I'm sorry you were so sick!"

[Oh, does she feel awful for being so wrapped up in her own Halloween plans; someone can expect to find a vase full of flowers outside their doorstep once this call is over.

And while she's not exactly an American, M'gann is technically a temporary citizen of the United States (while dodging all the red tape, as well) and has acquired a definite taste for the foods there. So when she gets that apology out, she's right back to being bright eyed and eager.]

"That sounds like a great idea! I like the food here, but I haven't had hot dogs or hamburgers in a really long time...I could probably try making them, at least? Mostly I've cooked using an oven, instead of a grill, though. Open heat sources like that are...Kind of difficult, sometimes."

[He gives her a grin and tugs on the front of his bomber jacket.]

Don't worry about me I feel way better now! Though I bet I'll feel even more great with a hamburger in my hand!

It's nice to hear you've enjoyed good American barbecue during your time on Earth. If you're serious about wanting to learn, I'll be setting up a grill to do some experimental cooking to figure out the restaurant's menu in the near future. You're welcome to come give it a try for yourself.

"Is telekinesis okay? Using it to prepare the food, I mean."

[Because...Yeah, maybe if she stands AWAY from the open heat source on the grill, she can still manipulate the food and make sure it cooks. It can't be that different from taking cookies out of an oven, right? M'gann starts to nod at the idea, looking more confident with it.]

"I hadn't even realized how much I was missing it, until now...If it means getting a place going that serves it, I'd be glad to help! It'd be great to really have it on hand."

[Nice as these tofu things have been...The thought of actual meat hamburgers and hotdogs is making her human-shaped mouth water.]

Can't think of a reason telekinesis would affect that good hamburger flavor! So yeah you're welcome to give it a shot- it actually sounds like it'd be entertaining to watch if you can pull it off.

[Note to self: if M'gann becomes a cook, let customers see that telekinesis in action.]

At the very least I can give you some barbecue lessons and we'll see where it goes from there.

"You would!?"

[EXCELLENT. She may not be adept at a grill, but any cooking lessons she can get, she'll take.]

"Then...Maybe I could teach you something in return? Like how to bake desserts?"

Sounds like a good plan to me! I've done some baking before. [He likes his sugar.] But maybe you know a recipe or two that I don't.

I'll let you know when I have the grill and the ingredients ready for some bbq 101.
