Hello, everyone! Now, you may remember that a few days ago, I mentioned that we would be having a another festival soon – our annual Munificence Festival. Preparation for the festival is beginning today, so look out for people working in the marked off areas of District 4. Please be considerate and try to avoid being a disruption to their work.
That being said, we are looking for volunteers! This festival is going to be very large, and it’s going to take a lot of work to prepare everything. We have more merchant stands and games than there have been in years, and we also need to prepare for the events, get the stages and platforms for dancing ready, and making sure…oh…
[Irene searches through the papers on her desk, looking for a list, but comes up empty-handed.]
Sorry, it’s hard to keep everything straight this time year. Needless to say, though, there is a lot that needs to get done to ensure that everything runs smoothly. If anyone would like to help, please come see us or let us know here so that we can give you more information. We may even have a special reward for anyone who does – something that we’re staying in contact with the scientists for, though I can’t tell you all much more than that.
Even if you can’t help, though, please stop by the festival itself when it starts on the 25th.
((OOC: While there is no log, there will be a reward for anyone whose character volunteers to help with festival preparations. Please leave a comment here, either IC or OOC depending on whether your character would approach Irene on the network on at the grounds where the festival is being set up.))

I'll do that. Can I tie their leashes to a tree so they don't run off?

Hey, Lady? Be careful of this one bad guy, alright? A few days ago, he made rain come down inside my room!
[Actually, no, that was you tripping the fire alarm.]

Someone did tell me a little bit about trick-or-treating, however. But it's a bit late to throw something that big together on our end.
[Which is a shame. It gives them something to keep in mind for next year, though.]
ooc;
She's also artistic if that helps any with decorations?!no subject

PeteSpider-Man suggests King of the Hill. A raised, circular platform surrounded by water, and the goal is for two people to do their best to knock one another into the water through any means possible-- within reason of course, no punching or kicking. It's supposed to be fun, not violent.Winner has the option to stay for the next challenger, loser takes a dip. Bonus points if the water's allowed to get cold!))
