➊st (video)
[the entry starts with Draco suddenly leaning away from the stationary screen, looking relatively bewildered—and not looking at the camera, because he doesn't know what that is or where to find it. he leans back forward, observing the screen, and gives it an uncertain little tap. he mumbles, a little.]
Is it working, then?
[he rolls his eyes and sighs.]
Feel like a sodding idiot... Well, here goes.
[and, unsure if this is properly doing its thing or not, Draco just hopes that it's working so that he's not literally talking to a wall. Draco seems to decide looking at the screen is probably the best course of action, as he talks—so to those viewing him, his eyecontact isn't direct, but hey, it's not too off!]
Some of you've already met me; my name is Draco Malfoy. I'm a somewhat recent arrival for this embarrassment of a city.
[and, as is characteristic of his house, Draco gets straight to business.]
I heard this was probably the easiest way to contact people conveniently, since there's no other option. I'm looking for a partner—someone to rely on when I start to get ill.
[he prays people get his meaning.]
That said, besides obviously helping the health of whoever steps up to the task, you won't be doing this for nothing. I'm a wizard—I know magical abilities aren't incredibly uncommon around here, but there's a fair bit of magic that can be incredibly convenient in the—[Draco half scowls, half winces,] domestic scheme of things, I guess...
Anyway—a simple exchange of information, such as where we're living or places we frequent, and trust enough to find one another as necessary is all I ask.

he pauses and looks to Soushi like he's crazy when he says "kind natives", and decides he must be the unassumingly sarcastic type. hopes, rather.]
Are there?
I'm in building two, on the second floor, in room number six.
video;
Certainly. I know of a few that come from a world where humans are not the only intelligent species. There are others who are animal-like, mechanical, or come from a world with endearing creatures who serve as protection to their masters. While there are other worlds filled with a cross between human and other intelligent species with extraordinary capabilities from both. Wizards and witches is rather new and unique. Do you mind exchanging information over the types of worlds we originate from? I have an acquaintance who is trying to find a connection between all worlds.
You do not live too far away. When would you like to begin offering support to keep ourselves from falling ill?
video;
Also, probably when next I start to feel sick. I've a few other names to consult for that time when it comes, but you could certainly stop by anyhow.
How long've you been here?
video;
[Once the permission to exchange information was given, Soushi will smile as he begins to retrieve his pen and paper out of his suit pocket.]
What is the name of the world you originated from? In a few short words, how would you best describe it as?
As for the answer to your question, I have been residing in this world for almost over three months. [Now that he thought about it.] If memory serves me correctly, I am part of the first groups to arrive to this world.
video;
Really? So this has only been going on for a few months, then?
And I'm from Earth—but from what you could call a hidden world; I come from magical society, which is kept a secret from muggles—[he keeps forgetting that this word is particular to said society, and catches himself:]—non-magic people—for our own safety. There's some intermingling, but some of us find the association disgraceful. [the word is spat with much contempt.]
I come from wizarding aristocracy, and we don't mingle with the non-magic sort if we can help it.
video; (i'm sorry for the late tag. i haven't been feeling well the last few days)
[While Draco spoke over his world and the situation between the two "species", Soushi will simply continue to write down the information in a small notebook. He found the others' world quite interesting. He is not at all offended by the situation, not the least bit, as a small smile will find a way to his lips.]
Of course. It is quite understandable. You and your kind's reason to not mingle with those without any special capabilities. After all, humans can be quite destructive especially when it concerns natures they do not fully understand. Am I correct to assume the reason for your world's secrecy? [The wizard's world sounds very much like his own and of his own kind except his kind are trying to adapt to the human society, in order, to live a more fulfilling life.]
video; LOL it's okay, i understand! my tag is very late too. irl got really hectic and time-eaty
—Correct. Muggles used to have a lot of sport with burning our sort alive and hunting them, especially the women. Because we scare them; because we're different. Better.
They aren't fit for our world's air, or for destroying it like I've heard they are. They don't deserve their lofty numbers.
...But, that's not to say that there isn't a fair amount of destruction even within our segregated society. I just came out of a war, myself.
[Draco tries to say it like it's something respectable; like he's done something great, or that he's someone who's grown up for what he's survived. he tries to say it like it's nothing that's shaken him beyond his own comprehension, and he, for all he appears, succeeds.]
video; it's fine. no worries. take your time. i backtag until we are done with the scene. C:
[Draco was definitely giving Soushi the idea of feeling accomplished over the matter. It almost has him wish to ask more about it, but decided against it. He did not wish to cross any lines.]
Nonetheless, I do wholeheartedly hope you will be able to live in peace, Malfoy-san. This world is different and even if it does not live to your expectations, I do hope you will be able to enjoy your stay here for as long as it will last.
video; yay!!!
his eyes flit back up to meet the screen as Soushi continues. his tone of voice is stiff; hostile, though not towards Soushi specifically.]
Much appreciated, but you've got to be bloody joking. There's no damn way I'll ever have peace in a place like this.
video; congrat malfoy, you now are stuck with him. xD
[The way the other individual's demeanor took a sudden chang will remind him a great deal of the way his master used to be when he first met her. Whenever she felt troubled or uneasy, she would use her harsh words as well. The reminder was more than enough for Soushi to wonder if Malfoy was the same way.]
If I may inquire, what types of recreation activities do you enjoy participating in? Is there anything in particular that would easily catch your attention?
video; GOOD. SERVE ME
... Well, everything I knew and loved was left behind in the wizarding world. This place hasn't got any of the things I enjoy.
Bloody boring, really.
video; HE WILL TRY. THAT IS WHAT HE LIVES FOR.
Are you entirely certain over the matter? Did you indeed check every corner of this realm to find it?
This world might not be as mystical and fantastic as your own, but it does hold its own charm. There are many wonderful and unique individuals that I am certain you will enjoy meeting. [For example!] Have you ever been given the honor to meet a telepathic that is not human? How about the ability to fly alongside other individuals that hold such a feat? What about testing your capabilities against them by playing innocent games such as tag? Or enjoying to be served by maids and butlers that will do anything in their power to feel content and entertained by their service?
video; lmao. fuck
Meeting interesting people is well and good I suppose, but that... isn't how I personally define my happiness.
video, private; oops he accidentally stepped on a land mine of issues, huh?
[Soushi will offer the other boy a warm smile as he begins to wonder if his bold questions had interest him enough to do so. Just for good measure, he will turn their conversation to a more private setting.]
If you do not wish to speak over the matter, then I will not hold any ill will against you. On the contrary, I will do my utmost to do whatever I can to be of service to you. Your comfort is most important as I do wish to only help you whenever you fall ill. [In other words, he will take small steps with this one even if his small steps are usually in the forcefully tactful category.]
video, private; ahaha a little...... he's ok though
Anyway, I—appreciate your concern. You're, ah, very kind. [scarily and inexplicably so.]
video, private; good. excellent. C:
[Sorry, Malfoy, but he will learn of your interests in the future. He won't give up on trying.]
Not at all. It was a pleasure to meet and speak with you. You truly are an amiable, thoughtful, and serious individual. I look forward to speaking with you further in the future as I wish to make your stay as enjoyable as I can for you. [All said in smiles as he did mean that.]
