[ Finally having mastered the art of the communication screens properly - admittedly, it took her a little while to work out the difference between answering someone else and making your own video - Hermione has a determined look on her face. She has a few pieces of paper held in her arms, close against her chest, protected by the large hardback book behind them. If anything, she looks like a very upset, if not frustrated, librarian.
After double checking that the video is on, that she's broadcasting and that she doesn't look as nitwitted as she thinks she does, she musters herself and begins to speak. ]
Hello, everyone. My name is Hermione Granger. [ Okay, now she looks a little more nervous. She just wants to ask questions, she was a professional at that. ] I was wondering if I could ask a few things, if that's alright with anyone watching.
[ She takes a deep breath before she tugs out one of her papers. ]
I was wondering if anyone knew about the lasting effects of our, um, illnesses, and how long they take? What sort of side-effects can I expect? I've heard a few things, but I'd like a solid basis of comparison just to be sure. Also...
[ Well. This part is... Awkward? Yes, awkward, that's a good word for it. ]
Has anyone else... Read about my life? In books? It's just - I don't remember agreeing to any sort of publication...
[ She sighs, lifting a hand and rubbing her eye gently. She's tired, frustrated and hasn't really slept with all the research she's been attempting. ]
If anyone could help I would appreciate it, very much. Thank you.

A good afternoon to you as well. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintanceship, Granger-san. My name is Soushi Miketsukami. I will do as much as I can to be of service to you today.
[When she began to ask questions over the illness that the city provides, Soushi will begin to explain.]
The lasting effects of this strange illness does not commence until a week goes by without having shown some type of physical contact towards another individual. Be it holding hands, dancing, or otherwise. You need to be in contact with someone to keep yourself from falling ill.
After a week goes by, you will begin to feel weak and show symptoms as if you are about to catch a cold or flu. Once another few days go by, your body will grow weaker by feeling as though you have caught a cold. The more time goes by, the worse the symptoms will become. The longest I was able to last was almost an entire month without physical contact, but... [A short pause to take a breath before continuing.] I do not recommend it as you will feel at your worse by then. I was unable to move, eat, or do anything else other than to remain in bed. If it were not for my... [Powers.] will-power, then I am uncertain of my fate over the matter. [Because he did feel he could have lost his life if it were the case.]
As for your second question, I do not believe I have had the pleasure to read your autobiography. [Then he begins to feel some concern over the matter.] If I may, why do you ask? Has someone made mention of it?
audio;
It's nice to meet you, Soushi, and thank you so much for all the information!
[ Thankfully, she's managed to take a fairly good amount of notes based on his information.
She does, however, have the decency to look somewhat embarrassed at the idea of it being her own autobiography -- it's startling enough that someone has written about Harry's and, by extention, her life, but - no, she'd never do it herself. ]
I didn't write it. I'd never think to be so -- [ arrogant, stuffy, self-obsessed -- memories of Gilderoy Lockhart over-taking her for a moment -- ] -- Particular. No, someone else wrote it and... Said I was fictional. It's very odd and someone seems to know all about me.

Oh, right, I'm Lloyd Irving. [A blink.] You were in a book?
video
[ Still... She sighs before she perks up when he introduces himself. ]
It's nice to meet you, Lloyd. I - well. [ Hah. ] Apparently? It's all a little confusing.

He has, at least, seemed to figure out how to watch a video, though whether that was on purpose or by happy accident is not entirely clear. He is talking aloud, though once again it is hard to determine if it's just to himself or intentionally as a response.]
I had not realized, Miss Granger must be famous indeed to have her young life written out already. It does seem like an interesting pursuit, though; perhaps given time it could be of use to see what stories the mortals have told in regards to my life as well.
no subject
Of course, she waits until he's finished before she starts in with a reply, looking a little flustered and embarrassed at being described as 'famous indeed'. ]
I'm not famous. Harry's the famous one, really, I just helped him out of a few sticky situations. [ And fought in a war. And saved his life. A lot. ] But they write about me as if I'm not real and... I think I don't exist there.
The requirements aren't too difficult to fulfill, though in my experience, the more contact you make, the more effective it is. Try not to fall behind, if you can help it. The sickness can creep up on you. [He pauses, then finally takes the plunge into the question that's clearly bothering her the most.] Someone wrote a book about you? Here, or at home...? [His eyes involuntarily dart to the book in her arms.]
I'm going to make sure I don't get sick.
[ She glances down at the book and she shakes her head. ]
Neither - at someone else's home. Where I'm fictional.

[Severa is generally a lot more brusque- but this girl's awkward nervousness reminds her a little of Noire, though with more backbone- so she's doing her best to actually... answer her questions.]
At first it's sort of like getting a cold or something- but without the sneezing and coughing. You get weak, tired, miserable... generally, it doesn't feel too great. I've been careful enough that I haven't gotten it too badly yet, but I wouldn't recommend testing it out.
[She crosses her arms and squints a little at the terminal, and then adds-]
You look more like the type to be writing the books than to have them written about you.
[ Still, she sighs, taking notes from the examples that Severa is giving her - the notes which, alongside all the others she's taking, seem like it's overwhelming the paper in her arms.
Glancing up at the final comment, Hermione purses her lips a little. ]
I suppose so, but... It happened and I'm not exactly pleased about it.

annoyed glarepresence.]I have not heard of you, or any books about you. Nor do I know why I should have. You appear to be just as unremarkable as any other human.
[The absolute lack of interest in what Hermoine's talking about is pretty clearly conveyed in Looma's tone, here. She couldn't sound more apathetic if she tried.]
The symptoms can take a few days. They are unpleasant, and recognizable. You will know when you have failed to obtain enough contact to avoid them.
Is there anything else?
video;
She blinks, holding her books closer and looking a little put out. ]
That's exactly my point, thank you for putting it in such bleak terms for me.
[ She shakes her head, the notes in her arms already near overflowing. ]
No, thank you.

B-books?
[Well, with a mathematician's like of exactitude, he says thoughtfully.]
Not technically your life, but, uh, if you mean Harry Potter's-- yeah. Absolutely. The seventh book came out when I was ten.
[His cousin had grown up with them. Hadn't lived to see the final one published.]
video;
Yes, those books. I don't understand how it's possible. I know we have magic and - [ she sounds vaugely dismissive here ] - seers, but even they have their limits.

He tells himself this but it's hard to suppress his smile when he greets her.]
Hi! I'm America!
["Okay a little too cheerful. Tone it down..." He adjusts his lips and his tone.]
I came here with the first group of visitors to Saeng Seong so I might be able to answer some of your questions.
When it comes to the illness it seems it affects different people at different rates, but generally the first symptoms don't take much more than a day or two to start.
And uh as for books... Yeah they were- and still are really popular where I come from. There were also eight movies in my world. If you want it all in great detail though you should ask England. He's the expert.

Hello there, America.
[ She relaxes as he starts to explain, adding his information to the already heavy notes that are in her arms. She's doing her best to keep it contained, to the point and informative, but, even so, she has pages covered in ink. ]
Thank you, really. I'm still getting used to all of this, but at least I know what to expect now.
[ Yes, as for the book... She breathes out, looking a little disheartened. ]
England? [ She purses her lips, shaking her head. ] I've seen the books, b-but not the films. I don't really want to believe I'm fictional, though.

I wish I'd been given the same opportunity. I... I didn't get to sign off on anything, especially being written about as though I don't exist.
[ A pause, then... ]
Did you like your film?

It's really nice to meet you, Miss Hermione, my name is Sealand. Hmm... Ron is my favourite, but you're in my top five characters, so this is super exciting!

It's nice to meet you too, Sealand.
[ Ron is higher than her? It's not as insulting as it might have been a few years before - he has matured, gotten better... Still, at least she's in the top five. ]
Thank you, that's very nice of you to say.

[BASICALLY IT SUCKS A LOT. DON'T DO IT. Official endorsement by Mewtwo.]
I have never heard of you, or any of your accomplishments. Has someone told you that they have?
[text]
[ Mewtwo endorsement is the best endorsement. ]
Yes, they have. They've even shown me the books.
