First Lance - [video]
[The rat woman who may have been seen atop various buildings across the city appears on the screen, sans hat, looking unsure for a moment before appearing to realize the feed is working correctly. She clears her throat quietly before speaking in a serious manner.]
I have a question for you all, if you would be so kind as to answer.
There seem to be many worlds represented in this city, but I have noticed that there are many from a planet called Earth. I am from the planet Gaia, but I have yet to meet anyone from my world, be it the same or an alternate version.
So my question is: What world are you from, and is it similar to this place we've found ourselves in? I would like to see if there is any correlation between the home worlds of people brought here.

I have not encountered anyone from my own world, though there have been two from a different "Gaia."
A different one? What's that like? Or- well, let's start with what your own's like.
My Gaia--or what I know of it--is mostly limited to the Mist Contient, where a magic substance that we call the Mist spawns monsters, among other things. We are mostly split into several kingdoms--Alexandria, Lindblum, Burmecia and Cleyra. Though we have airships and a few rail systems powered by the Mist, our technology is... not quite to the level of this city.
Meaning everything's a lot to adapt to. [he tilts his head, wing opening a little, not actually voicing the question of how she's doing.]
It has been an... interesting experience, certainly. But they have provided food and shelter, and that is all one really needs to survive. The rest will come in time. [And hey, she's gotten the hang of this thing, sort of.]
Yeah. And… it's not as bad as, say, an alien invasion could be. No one probing anywhere or anything.
[he hesitates, feathers shifting slightly.] Don't think I got your name. I'm Davesprite.
I--suppose that is true. [Probing? What? She's frustrated enough with invaders from her own planet.
Little does she know the guy in charge of the weapons in said invasion is an alien.]I am Freya. It's good to meet you.
Nice to meet you too.
So other than Mist and monsters, what's home like?
My homeland, Burmecia, is under a constant shower of rain, but the people there are lively and loyal to their countrymen. [Or they used to be.] Gaia in general... it is not as peaceful as it once was, but there are many sights to see. I've traveled for a while, but there always seems to be something I have not yet encountered.
Huh. Sounds like a pretty good place to live. Do you all get your food okay, though? […slow nod.] Big old world out there. And… it's got to be interesting seeing all that in person.
It is. [To both statements.] But I fear that in all my traveling, I have not been able to appreciate my home as I should. [She won't take it for granted again, that's for sure. She supposes she should be grateful it wasn't completely obliterated like the neighboring kingdom...]
Being away from a place does that to you. I hear, anyway. It's still there for you to go back to and appreciate, right?
I suppose so, yes. [In... a roundabout way. She does plan to go back to help rebuild, anyway...?] But I suppose that will have to wait until we find a way back to our worlds.
[But she's not going to wait around doing nothing.] I suppose we will simply have to search for our own answers if we wish to leave sooner. [Translation: your guess is as good as mine.]
[he nods, making a bit of a face.] Best way to be sure they're right, though. So I guess… maybe the first thing to do would be to figure out how they're reaching across our worlds in the first place.

I suppose plans will only do so much if we can't act. I'll do what I can to find more information in the meantime.
