First Lance - [video]

[The rat woman who may have been seen atop various buildings across the city appears on the screen, sans hat, looking unsure for a moment before appearing to realize the feed is working correctly. She clears her throat quietly before speaking in a serious manner.]

I have a question for you all, if you would be so kind as to answer.

There seem to be many worlds represented in this city, but I have noticed that there are many from a planet called Earth. I am from the planet Gaia, but I have yet to meet anyone from my world, be it the same or an alternate version.

So my question is: What world are you from, and is it similar to this place we've found ourselves in? I would like to see if there is any correlation between the home worlds of people brought here.

At the least, if we are unable to find our own way, I hope the people of this city will make good on their promise to return us.

[But she's not going to wait around doing nothing.] I suppose we will simply have to search for our own answers if we wish to leave sooner. [Translation: your guess is as good as mine.]

You'd hope so.

[he nods, making a bit of a face.] Best way to be sure they're right, though. So I guess… maybe the first thing to do would be to figure out how they're reaching across our worlds in the first place.

That would likely be helpful, yes. Though depending on what sort of magic or technology they use, we might need to find someone knowledgeable enough to comprehend it before it is of any use to us...

Yeah. The places seems close enough I could probably figure how how to use most of it, but… it we need to rework something, we might need someone who knows their way around all that.

[She sighs.]

I suppose plans will only do so much if we can't act. I'll do what I can to find more information in the meantime.

Yeah, sounds like a good plan. Let's see what we can find and talk it over later.
