Ciao!~
I think I picked out the right ingredients to make pasta! I can help those that want to learn how cook now. If anyone else is interested I might be able to hold a small cooking lesson. [ That was being helpful right? And quite possibly make new friends! ]
Germany! If you see this I haven't gone to the bookstore yet. [ He completely forgot about it, too worried over picking the right vegetables. ] If you want to go still, we can. I didn't want to worry about the food spoiling while being in the bookstore. It'll give you time to see if they have any interesting books!
What else does everyone do around here?

[Cu Chulainn peers into the video.]
And I play and dance and swim in the fountain, sir!

[ It surprised Italy that there were people out there that didn't know what pasta was. However, that should be expected with the information given to him by another nation. ]
Swimming can be quite fun! Is there only a fountain around here? Or is there any other way to swim?

[He shakes his head.]
There's a forest and a beach too, but I haven't gone into the water there yet. It's really big and I wanna go there with a friend.]

Noodles are made from unleavened dough. It is rolled flat and then cut into different shapes and lengths.
[ He didn't see a reason to go further into it since he couldn't really explain the process in full. Italy wasn't completely sure on the process because for some information. ]
A forest and a beach. Have you been to the forest? Is it dangerous?
no subject
Boiled dough strips? That doesn't sound very good.
I've been to the forest and it doesn't seem dangerous yet!

Pasta is delicious! You need to try some!
[ He blinks, staring at the screen. ]
Not dangerous? That's good, perhaps others should explore it.

[Because food is always something Minako can get behind! It's not like she can spend all her time here mooching off of Shinju.]

I love cooking! I love cooking for my friends and eating with them.
video sorry for the late ;w;
video | No problem! My life was getting hectic too.
It shouldn't be that difficult. [ He would even pitch in on the cooking too to help them along. ]

[Cooking AND meeting new people? Definitely her kind of lesson.]
As for what I do, I work! I have a part-time job at a sweets shop in district 3! When I'm not working sometimes I just go window shopping.

[ It was a good idea! It seems that a few other people would be interested in something like a lesson. If they were going to be here for a while making friends was a good way to go. ]
Is there a lot of jobs around here?
text
The beach shacks, district 3...I don't know about a LOT of jobs, but a good amount of the people here seem to be pretty okay with hiring otherworlders. I think it's mostly part-time stuff, though.

Having the right ingredients for any Italian food is better than not having it.

[She had kind of been hoping they would solve the problem before too long and go home.]
Well, Grandma always did say it's better to have something and not need it then need it and not have it. I guess that applies to food, too.

There's other foods I could hold lessons for too. If anyone would become interest in that as well. Pasta is a good starting point.
video;
I think a lot of folks would be interested in other foods too.

I guess having the same meal everyday would get pretty boring. [ He really hadn't thought about that because he really liked pasta. ]

Pasta your favorite type of meal?

[ Jack raised a brow at the message before reading the rest of the text on the little touchscreen, careful not to press any wayward button by accident as he scrolled. After a moment, he's typing back his own reply, painstakingly written. ]
That depends on the weather, but people watching is a favorite pastime as is napping underneath the shade of a tree. But if I had to actually do something, I find some small enjoyment out of tinkering. Are you perhaps looking for a new hobby?
no subject
[ Italy can be very single minded when it came to things that he liked. He would always make pasta and eat gelato. ]
People watching? [ He could probably think of one person he knows who might do that. It seemed like a good past time. ] I can sing, paint, and cook food! Another hobby wouldn't be so bad. I wouldn't mind having someone teach me this new hobby too!

[ and no less because his dearest friend would go green at the sight of it. Oswald is not a man who is fond of tomatoes. ]
And perhaps an exchange of hobbies could be in order. I have a tendency to just grab what I need to eat as I go. Perhaps you could teach me a few of your native recipes?
no subject
[ Italy really liked using tomatoes for his pasta dishes. ]
Mm! That means there would be more things to do around here. Hobby exchange seems like a good idea. Of course! I wouldn't mind teaching you some of the recipes.

Then perhaps we could make an evening of it then? Your description sounds delicious, although I'm afraid that tinkering will require more then a single evening to master. I'm afraid I still have much to learn myself. [ he practically looked bashful saying it, although it didn't come across in the text. ]
