[Technically, the Pokemon had arrived with the others on the 18th, but he had done his best to remain inconspicuous and had slunk away soon after receiving the welcome letter. Feel free to have seen a giant cat monster skulking about in the corner and flying off, but there's no indication that this message is from the same individual. He'd rather keep his face off the network for now.]

How simple life would be if I were unable to feel empathy. Even when I have been taken forcibly from my home and given absurd demands...

But no matter.

I have many questions, but I imagine my fellow captives have little in the ways of answers. So I will ask for your opinions instead.

What do you think of nonhumans? I have seen a surprising amount here that are clearly of other species. It intrigues me...

If the natives are all human, then it is possible that they purposefully selected from human-dominated worlds. Whether for their own benefit, or for their captives'.

'Gaia'...an interesting name. Do some races encounter persecution, even on a world such as yours?

I had not thought of it that way; I suppose it could be.

There is some hostility at times, but it is generally due to allegiances, not races. [She'd never been treated poorly on the basis of being a Burmecian, at least.]

It is also possible that the universe simply contains more humans than nonhumans. I must admit to having limited experience with other worlds. [AKA no experience but whatever. Close enough.]

Perhaps, but I have my doubts. It is currently in the midst of a war that I do not believe will end any time soon. [Just because they don't have major racial problems doesn't mean they don't have a million other ones...]

I believe you and I lie in the majority, in that case. Interstellar travel is rather difficult, after all. Which does raise the question of how, precisely, we were transported to this world...

A war? Then conflict is truly universal...for what reasons does your world war?

I have not found any information regarding the method they used to bring us here; only promises that we would return to the same time and place.

From what I have learned, it is due to mere greed. [Her eyes narrow, thinking of the cruel queen who had destroyed her home.] Our cities were something they could not have, and so they were destroyed.

Of course. That would be too simple, to tell us outright...we could use the information to our own gains.

[Jay-Z has a lot of problems, honestly. Including a need to number all of them, I guess. Anyway, Mewtwo studies her expression for a moment. He thinks he knows that look; he imagines it's been on his face more than once before.]

How unfortunate that greed is also universal. [A pause, then: ] My condolences for your situation. [(is that a good thing to say? being nice is a little weird.)]

It would not benefit them to let us learn and use the same methods to return. I imagine very few would stay were we to have access to a way home.

[She sighs at the text on the screen.]
