[Technically, the Pokemon had arrived with the others on the 18th, but he had done his best to remain inconspicuous and had slunk away soon after receiving the welcome letter. Feel free to have seen a giant cat monster skulking about in the corner and flying off, but there's no indication that this message is from the same individual. He'd rather keep his face off the network for now.]

How simple life would be if I were unable to feel empathy. Even when I have been taken forcibly from my home and given absurd demands...

But no matter.

I have many questions, but I imagine my fellow captives have little in the ways of answers. So I will ask for your opinions instead.

What do you think of nonhumans? I have seen a surprising amount here that are clearly of other species. It intrigues me...

I've lived with a lot of nonhumans before. It's really not that big of a deal.

Have you seen many who are not human? I have only met one other than myself, though I have not been here very long.

Well no, they were actually family. I've had adoptive parents and siblings that weren't human.

"Many" would be an overstatement, but it is more than I am used to. In my world, cities are populated and run almost entirely by humans.

Some here are nearly human in appearance, whereas others could never be mistaken for one.

I see. It does appear that many of the people brought here share the same kind of world, where humans are the dominant or only race. I've encountered a few interesting reactions to my appearance.

Non humans? What are you an alien or something? -You aren't the only one, so need to be shy. Don't worry about it man- or lady- er whatever you'd like to be addressed as.

I come from a place where there are a lot of humans but we have a bunch of animals too- they count as non human don't they? And actually my best friend Tony is from outer space! I think non humans are just fine- they can be really cool too.

They're not always so different from anyone else, though they certainly have more spark in their lives.

Simpler, but lacking in quality, I believe.

I do not feel negatively towards nonhumans.

My feelings for others are not based on their species. In other words, I have no reason to dislike nonhumans.

If you mean animals, I think most people like them. Some are afraid of certain types, like large dogs, but they should be able to overcome it.

If you have another nonhuman type in mind, you’ll have to be more specific.

It's common sense, as long as they're not hurting us, we have no reason to think anything ill of them.

The shorter the better. It's when a person gets long-winded about their reasons or their opinions that you know they're lying.

And besides, most opinions are stupid anyway.

From what I've seen they're just like anyone else. One of my best friends is from another planet.

There are many who are currently investigating and are trying to gather as much information as they possibly can. What do you wish to know? That way we can add it to the list of information to search for.

The general consensuses seems to be positive over the matter of humans and nonhumans being able to co-exist with minimal effort. You or your non-human acquaintance are safe here. There have been no incidents of report of altercations between the two species.

It's interesting to note this place affects everyone equally though. It rules out a biological cause for the drain effects, for one.
