1st Punch [Video]
[Akihiko is standing in front of a terminal, musing for a few minutes on what he wants to say to the others. After he makes up his mind, he touches the screen to access the network.]
Hey, everyone. Listen up!
You all know what we have to do. Being stubborn about it is just gonna get you killed, so don’t even bother wasting your time. We don’t have to hang off of each other all the time! Stick with your friends, or just go shake someone’s hand every once in a while. This energy problem affects everyone, and there’s no sense in making things worse.
[He’s not happy about being stuck in some foreign city either, completely cut off from home, but there’s a mission to complete here. The sooner they get it done and over with, the sooner they can all go back home. Right?]

He shakes his head in response, giving the other a friendly smile.] No, but I’m definitely into health and fitness. I’ve been on the boxing team since middle school.

I know some other guys around here into fitness. You're gonna fit in just fine. You're taking this all pretty well into stride.

It sounds like we can definitely hold a couple of tournaments here. What’re you into, man?
[He shrugs modestly.] Panicking is just gonna be a waste of time and energy. We need to keep everyone calm and focused. Besides, I’ve been in similar situations before, due to… [no talking about the Dark Hour to normal humans, Aki] uh, training.

[Badou gives a whole-hearted laugh.] Hey, I'm not saying anything! But maybe you wanna try talking it out first.
You've been kidnapped into a weird town and forced into hugging people before? I'm not sure what kinda training you've done, kid, but I definitely don't wanna be a part of it.
And I'm not so much into the physical fitness scene. I'm more into the 'eating right and staying alive' gimmick, with some journalism on the side. [The cigarette hanging out of his mouth and his general gangliness should speak for himself enough.] I'm also working in a market around here. Saving up for my own shop.

[He laughs somewhat sheepishly.] Not exactly… More like, I’m used to being in dangerous situations. This city seems pretty mild so far, but I’m pretty sure we haven’t heard the whole story yet. We need to be prepared for anything, just in case.
[His laugh subsides, and a fond smile takes its place.] Heh… you kinda remind me of a friend of mine. [Shinji used to lecture him all the damn time about eating right.] How’s that working out for ya? I'm looking for a job too.
Oh, are you gonna open up a newspaper office or something?
[OOC: Sweet! I wanna throw Aki into the festival too! Not sure what to have him do yet, though, so ideas are welcome!]

Anyway, getting my own place is going pretty well. I know how to budget my shit and everything, so this isn't so different than back home. Just gotta shake everyone's hand. What're you lookin' for job-wise? Third District's got a bunch of openings.
Holy shit, my own office? Pass. It'd be way too much work. I'm more of a photojournalist--out in the wild, doing my own thing. You know. I'm more of a convenience store kinda guy. I'd just like to run it my way.

Heh, I'm not really much of a photographer of pretty stuff so much as a photographer of stuff going on. But hey, if an art dealer happens to come by and wants a photo for a couple million, you can bet I'm handin' that shit over.
