[video] Backdated to the beginning of the de-aging event cause I am a dumb
[Hello, everyone. A face both familiar and unfamiliar appears on you screens. It's the face of a young adult Thunderan, looking to be in her late teens or very early 20's, though the coloring of her fur and hair looks very familiar. He looks nervous and embarrassed and has a blanket wrapped around her.]
Um... hey everybody? It's Kit.
So I don't know how it happened, but I kinda... grew up. All at once. Which is neat, I guess, but.... I kinda... can't wear any of my clothes now.
[She blushes enough that it's visible through the fur. That explains the blanket.]
So... um does anybody have any clothes I could borrow? Just long enough that I can go get some of my own, I mean.

[Says the robot that doesn't really get cold.]
Re: video
Well... partly cause you're just supposed to most places. But also right now cause it's cold out, and I'd be cold without them, even with my fur.

My inter-temperature what? I don't think I have one of those.

[Says the kitten who clearly hasn't clued in on the fact that it's a part of a TF's body.]

[Helpless shrug.]

Oh! It's um... yeah I don't think one of those would really work for me. I'll just have to stick with trying to get some clothes.
[Pause]
Hey, um... I don't suppose you'd be willing to pick me up a long coat or something?
[Attempting to look extra cute here, hoping it still works as a grown up. It's a long shot, but it'd be better than making a dash for the welcome center (and the winter coats meant for new arrivals there) in a blanket toga.]
no subject
Sure thing!
Uh. Where do you get long coats?
[He's never bought clothes in his life, sorry man.]

There should be some free ones at the Welcome Center still. It doesn't have to be any particular color or even exactly the right size; just big enough to fit a grown up. Er... a human grown up, not a robot like you; I don't think they make them that big.
[Kit kind of figures that; hence keeping it as simple as possible.]

Where do I drop it off after I get it?

video -> action
[Spinister goes offline at this point. After about thirty minutes, he finally arrives at Kit's door with a whole bundle of different jackets, snow flakes still melting off his armor.]
Hello?
[Knock knock?]
video -> action
[Then the feed cuts off and Kit is left to wait. She tries to tidy up a bit while she does so, but it doesn't take too long til she hears a knock, and the muffled sound of a familiar voice.]
Coming!
[She goes and opens the door, still wrapped in the blanket, finding Spinister there with an armful of coats.]
Hi! Thanks for helping me with this; I don't think running over there in just a blanket would've been much fun.
[Slight pause]
Do you wanna come in for a few minutes? I could get you a towel or something so you could dry off.
[Because she's noticed the melting snow, nd even if he has an inter-temperature thingy she doubts robots like being all wet.]
Re: video -> action
[There's an orange one and a red one and a pink one, which Spinister personally thinks would be ridiculously badass because then Kit would look like she's bathed in the blood of her enemies!
... He glances at the tufts of snow on his shoulders and shrugs.]
If you want me to? I'm gonna get wet again once I go out, so it doesn't matter too much.
Re: video -> action
Having a few to choose from is good. This way I'll be able to see which one fits best.
[Kit shrugs slightly as well as she takes the coats, gesturing for Spinister to come in for a minute or two while she tries them on.]
I just thought robots wouldn't like being all wet any more than people did, that's all.
[Once inside, Spinister might just be able to see a Chikorita peeking over the arm of the sofa at the stranger.]
action
[Spinister steps into the room and peers about for a moment before stepping in further and delicately closing the door behind him.]
I thought you meaty sorts would like wet though? You've got a lot of water in you!
[At the sight of the Chikorita, Spinister puffs his armor plating out, optics narrowed in suspicion.]
Re: action
Really? Um... well, I'm sorry then. I didn't mean to insult anybody or anything. But what should I call you guys then, if not robots?
[She drapes the blanket over the back of a chair, and put the coats on the seat, not especially worried about Spinister briefly seeing her in the buff. After all, neither he nor Krok ever wore clothes and he'd seemed confused as to what they were even for, so she didn't figure it would bother him. She decided to try on the orange coat first, but then paused at Spinister's question.]
Sometimes we do, but only when we feel like getting wet. After all, you've got a lot of metal in you, but do you like being covered in a lot of little metal bits if you didn't plan on it?
[Startled at the puffing, the Chikorita ducks down a bit more behind the arm of the sofa so only the leaf on his head is visible. Kit, meanwhile, sees the way Spinister puffs up his armor and giggles a little as she slips into the orange coat.]
That's Emerick. I talked to Professor Oak about him, and he's definitely not poisonous. At least not right now, since he's just a baby. Professor Oak said that he can learn some poison-attacks when he's older, but I'm not gonna teach him any of those. Besides, you're metal; he couldn't hurt you with them anyway.
Re: action
[Because now that he's really looking at the tiny person, Spin realizes she's not really a standard human.]
Oh, that's true. I guess I never thought of it much 'cause I've never been on places that rained metal. Well, there's the really badly built smelters, but the smelters are unpleasant with or without metal stuff sparking off on you.
[Now that the Chikorita had been cowed, Spin's armor slowly resettles. He's still squinting suspiciously at the leafy bit sticking out though.]
Well. If you say he's okay, I guess I'll go easy on him.
Re: action
[Kit tries the unfamiliar word out, getting the feel for it.]
OK, got it. And I'm a cat.
[Which thankfully is much easier to say than Cybertronians.
The word smelter, or at least its root word, is vaguely familiar to her, though.]
Smelting is part of forging metal, right? I heard some of the smiths talking about it back in Thundara.
[Kit tries on the orange coat first but it turns out to be too short, barely reaching her hips. Needing something that at least covers her thighs, Kit takes off the orange coat and goes for the red one.]
Good. He is just a baby, and you have to be careful with babies; it's easy for them to get sick or hurt.
[Meanwhile, Emerick the Chickorita is now peeking around the edge of the sofa arm, hoping the stranger won't see him if he does it this way. But doing so leaves him teetering rather precariously on the edge of the cushion...]
