I'm looking for music.
Recordings or performers.
Maybe instruments.
That is assuming I can learn. I think most of the instruments here are primarily inspired by humans.
Correct me if I'm wrong, of course.

Something to pass the time when it isn't just work.
nerdica: (well about that)

Any particular kind of music? It's a wide category, and the lack of specifics means you could end up with a sample of caterwauling of the native population of PSR B1620-26 b - which while considered to be the highest form of art and verbal communication on their planet - tends to rupture the eardrums of most organic species. ( Pause. ) Er, not that you're likely to find such a thing here.

I do, actually. It's-- ( She taps a rhythm out on the console, something upbeat and quick before humming the melody for a second or two. It's her best attempt at the Cybertronian version of this. ) hard to replicate, although I've heard something similar to it here during the festival. But the more upbeat and lively a song is, the more I like it - ballads have their place but they don't really set the mood for getting work done or enjoying a good book.
nerdica: (ahaha well)

There are some trends in music that will appear again and again throughout the galaxy, particularly among similar species or sectors. I've read a few treatises on the theories behind it, but nothing that offers substantial evidence to support their conclusions - just speculation.
