[In another five minutes, Ratchet is knocking lightly on Magnus' door, then opening it. His face is taut and quiet, almost grave as he shuts the door behind him, but more than anything he looks tired.]

...Magnus.

[Ultra Magnus doesn't look any better.

He's sitting hunched over in one of the seats offered in his flat. Dried energon is spread across his plating. Ultra Magnus, who furiously cleans himself, didn't have the will to take care of it yet.

He's exhausted. He's been through worse physically and he feels like he's just been through all of the worse of the war in the last 48 hours.]

Ratchet.

[stubbornandfrustrating]

[Ratchet stares at him for a moment, fuel turning to sludge in his tanks before he draws himself up a little, his expression firming. He walks closer and reaches out, his fingertips brushing some of the flaking, dried energon stuck to Magnus' plating.]

Let me help you with that.

[For a moment, he almost wants to tell Ratchet not to. He's not entirely prepared to accept that Chromedome had lost it and let himself be killed, but he knows there's no used to clinging to the past.

So, Ultra Magnus nods once.]

I know how important your crew is to you. You expressed this when you concluded what Chromedome did to Fulcrum, though you may not remember it.
That's why we need to figure out something that'll work for both of us.
I know why Spinister did what he did, and I cannot excuse Chromedome's actions, but he still murdered Chromedome.
I don't have a brig for him, so I have him under house arrest for now.
