I kinda figured eating organic food was a terrible idea, but I guess I figured that out when one of the grunts tried having some back on Novarra-5. If you aren't experienced with organics, then I can see why you'd try.

That's a shame, but I've heard similarly. Maybe we can try to make something similar for us that you can actually consume.

[Ratchet isn't the only one watching. Wing sees many things, and he wonders about a lot of them.]

[There's a knock on the door a good fifteen minutes later, after Wing is finished chatting everyone up. He seems to be his usual, cheerful self when Ratchet opens the door.]

Greetings, Ratchet. Thank you for taking the time to see me.

[Ratchet nods and steps back, letting Wing in and trying not to look wary.]

Yeah, well, it was rough, what with my schedule here so crammed. [His mouth tilts a little and he shuts the door, gesturing for Wing to sit if he wants.]

What... did you want to talk about, specifically? [Ratchet tenses suddenly, his grip on the door handle tightening.] Is Drift all right?

Drift is fine.

[Wing is quick to reassure him.]

He speaks highly of you, and I was wondering what you thought of him.

[stubbornandfrustrating]

[Ratchet hesitates, sensing a trap.]

It's... complicated. [Haltingly.] We've known each other a long time.

[Kit had considered a moment before replying. She'd been avoiding the big robots since she got here; even though they could talk and things they still reminded her uncomfortably of the lizards' war mechs.This one seemed friendly, though, and talking to them over the terminals would be safe enough.

She waves to Wing as the camera turns on her.]

Hi, Wing! My name's Wily-Kit, but everybody just calls me Kit. It's nice to meet you. [pause] Well, if talking on these things counts as meeting; I'm not sure.
