So, I guess I'll get around to actually introducing myself, seeing as how we're all probably gonna be here awhile.

Hi there! I'm Fulcrum. Unlike most of you, I'm a Cybertronian. That means I don't have a shred of organic bits in me. I'm all metal, wires, and all that good stuff.

Now, I've only spoken to a couple of you organics, but I'd like to learn a little more about the rest of you. I haven't really interacted with too many organic species in the past, and now's my opportunity to learn more! If you're willing to share.

Well, it's... pretty green, I guess? There's a lot of water--it takes up about 70 percent of the surface. I couldn't say how much of the rest is nature--plants and animals and stuff--and how much is civilization, but cities and towns usually have a lot of grass, at least. Culture-wise, I guess it's pretty peaceful? [He pauses. It's hard to describe a planet to someone when he has no idea what their planet is like.]

You can just call me Shinju, by the way.

Because of all the plants, since most of those are green. And the water is pretty... temperate in most places, but it gets colder if you go a ways north or south. It's cold enough to freeze at the poles.

Yeah, so I've heard. It wasn't always peaceful there, though.

[He can't help but chuckle a little at the idea.]

No, I can only breathe air, unfortunately, though I'd like to be able to breathe underwater. We live on land for the most part, yeah.

What about you guys? Do you need air at all?

[He shrugs, looking like he wishes he could answer.] From what I know we evolved away from breathing underwater, but who knows why. I don't think there are any sentient species like us in the oceans, but I've been wrong about that kind of thing before.

[Shinju scratches the back of his neck, a self-depreciating smile briefly on his face.]

That sounds pretty convenient. I'm guessing Cybertronians don't have that much issue with being in water or out in space, then?
