[When Yuna shows up on the monitors this time, it's with a small embarrassed blush on her face.]

I got kind of a cool spell back from my world about a week ago, and I wanted to know if anybody wanted to help me test it out.

[There's a short pause here as she glances somewhat awkwardly from side to side, scratching at her cheek.]

It's probably best if it's someone I already know and trust just because of how this one works, but I guess I can't really be picky.  If you're interested, let me know.

So what exactly does this contract do?

It forms a magical bond between a mage and their partner. I'd obviously be the mage in this case, and you'd be the partner. The partner gets a magical artifact that they can summon with a card, like that magic gun you've seen me with. And the mage can transfer some of her magic to the partner to power them up for a little while.

[He's listening carefully and it doesn't sound bad but Yu can't help but be careful of the idea. There's always seems to be a catch or a downside to magic and he doesn't want Yuna or himself get hurt due to it.]

Is there a catch to it?

...But in this case, we're talking about a spell that makes a magical contract between two people. Or I guess maybe between a person and a robot, in this case?

A contract? What kind of contract? How much fine print?

I've always been into that kinda stuff. Robots and guns and military hardware.

Well... it's not really a written contract. It's more like a way of sharing power, I guess? And you get a cool artifact out of it, too.

So it's a power share of sorts. Hm.

What sort of artifacts?

That's the cool part - it's different depending on who's making the contract. I got a set of magic guns, but one of my classmates got a diary that can read peoples' thoughts. And another girl got a theater mask that makes her invisible while she's wearing it. It all depends on the personality and skills of whoever makes the contract.
