[Hi, Saeng Seong. Big pink eyes are staring at you. The sound of a little paw slapping the keyboard can be heard, and text shows up along with the video feed: ]

[The eyes draw back a little, and now you can see that they're (thankfully) attached to a little furry thing who appears to be trying to understand how the laptop works. It looks at the screen where the text has shown up and makes a questioning noise.

Mewtwo's telepathic voice comes through, sounding somehow distant, and weak.]

Stop...touching that.

[Espurr turns halfway and chirps indignantly. If you have a Pokemon or can somehow speak the language, you might figure out that it's refusing to stop and saying something about Mewtwo needing help. Earnestly, the little Pokemon gazes into the webcam and talks at it; again if you know Pokemon it's telling the audience that Mewtwo is sick and needs someone to help.

But even if you don't know what its saying, it's clearly distressed. Help a psychic cat out?]

[September doesn't speak pokemon and has only a suspicion that this wee creature is upset, but he's very curious. His head tilts.]

You are... attempting to communicate. Do you understand me?

[Espurr looks up at the voice, a little surprised, but then...she nods! She understands people-talk.

Then she makes more noises, which sound vaguely like meows. Help, voice from the laptop!]

I do not understand you. You must show me what it is that is distressing you.

[The Pokemon pauses for a few moments, seeming to think about what to do. Little paws come up to cover the camera, accidentally tilting it up to record the ceiling, then tilting it back down to the keyboard. No, that's not what she wanted to do! After several more attempts, she manages to get it back to a good angle and climbs off to the side. The camera is now showing a bed, occupied by a large lumpy thing that shifts around weakly.

Espurr's paw comes back into frame, pointing at the bed's occupant, and she chirps urgently.]

[Ahah. That does explain a few things.]

Is this individual ill?

[There are a few clicky beeping sounds as he attempts to trace the signal.]

[She nods rapidly, and adopts a thoughtful expression again. If she has to explain without talking...she brightens and holds her hands in front of her, apparently trying to demonstrate something.

The little Pokemon puts her arms around herself, in an imitation of a hug. Then she points at the bed again and makes an angry expression. He didn't get enough hugs. Basically. :|b

The signal appears to be coming from the first apartment building, somewhere on one of the lower floors.]

[He headtilts at this, then nods once. And then utters the line he heard so many times during his Observing days:] I will see what I can do.

[Oh, hey, Mewtwo lives on the next floor up from September. Short trip.]

[Presently, there's a knock on the door.]

[Happy chirping!! We did it! And once September gets to the door, there's some more, slightly more muffled, chirping from the other side of it. She's far too short to reach the knob, unfortunately. However, if he turns it, he'll find that it's unlocked.

Meanwhile, a little Espurr paw pokes out from under the door frame. Maybe she can...uh....no she has no idea what to do, this is just the best idea she's got. :( ]

[He sees the little paw sticking out from under the door. He's kind of used to the sight, as Pepper does something very similar sometimes. So he tests the knob. Hm. Well, he opens the door slowly, trying not to injure the little creature on the other side.]

[A bald head topped with a fedora pokes into the room, looking about. Hello, the room?]

[that voice sounds familiar. but the little cat-creature doesn't look familiar]

Well, hello there! Who are you? [always have to stop doing anything for cute weird-looking animals]

[This is like the one question a Pokemon can actually answer, because they can say their names.]

Espurr.

[Ta da! She moves closer to the camera, staring insistently and chirping some more. She needs assistance, England! Please help her!]

ESPer? As in telepathy? [hmm. sure is talkative, though. for something that cannot talk] Can you show me where you are? With the camera? [or can you even understand me, you cute thing?]

[Telepathy? Well, that is something psychic Pokemon can do, yes...but she's never heard of "ESPer". She nods slowly anyway. Yes, probably?

It takes her a moment to understand what he's suggesting. Then she attempts to grasp the laptop and move it around, but it's about as big as she is and probably the same weight, too, so that doesn't work well. Her chirps become frustrated sounding. Finally she just scoots herself out of the way so that England can see the room: a fairly plain bedroom, with the laptop on a desk and pointing at a large lumpy blanket on the bed. The lump moves slightly.]

You are going to hurt yourself.

[oh! someone else is talking... he thinks?]

You need help? [that was to Espurr, but then he thinks better of it and raises his voice, directed to the bedlump] Hello?

[Now this is ESP. Maybe one day Espurr will learn to talk like that as well, but for now she's unfortunately stuck with cat noises. At least they're cute noises.

The lump stills, then moves again. From this distance it's a little hard to see when a face peeks wearily out from under the blanket, but the angry eyes help.

Then Espurr accidentally falls off the desk. Oops.]

[what kinds of creatures are these? England makes a startled noise when the little ESP cat falls over]

A-ah! I'm sorry for troubling you! The lad sounded distressed! Is everything alright over there?

[Get ready for some Poltergeist shit, England, because the laptop starts moving by itself. Or it might be the angry eyes, which are now glowing faintly. The camera lifts up a few inches, wobbling, then begins moving towards the eyes.

It might be scary, except for the part where Mewtwo's power fails and the laptop drops to the floor. Yeah.

But now at least the camera is pointed towards Espurr, who seems unharmed. There's some grumbling in the background as she dusts herself off, and chirps reassuringly at the laptop.]

[omg omg omg omg omg this really IS like some ESP stuff! that laptop levitated. England might consider it magic except for the fact that the little kitten thing called itself ESPer]

You almost did it... I think. [England actually has no idea what Espurr is trying to do. he wants to help, but he doesn't know how to begin]

[Best paranormal show ever? :D Or best in Saeng Seong, at least. There's a moan from off-camera, like the angry eyes are in a lot of pain. Finally, the telepathic voice comes back.]

She wants....help....for me... [Yeah, he can't really pretend that he doesn't need it after his powers fail like that and he can't even get out of the bed to put the laptop back. :|b ] I am ill.

[that voice again]

Ill? Do you need assistance? [he's already getting up] Just tell me where you are.

[Well. He'd seen his share of odd creatures before, both here and in his own word... but this was a new one. Thankfully most of the aforementioned creatures he'd met seemed to have a grasp on speaking with humans, so hopefully this one would as well...]

Are you alright? You do not seem it.

[The little Pokemon shakes her head. No, not alright. (But she does understand human speech, at least.) She meows a few times, trying to demonstrate something with her stubby arms, but it's not really very helpful.]

[Well, at least now he knows she understands; though he's still at a loss to grasp her meaning. And charades don't work well with such tiny arms and paws.

But, if it can nod and shake its head, then at least he has some hope of figuring this out...]

Are you asking for aid? Did I not hear someone inside with you?

[Nod nod nod! She turns around and points at something behind her, leaning to the left so that he can see. It's a bed, and there's something in the bed. Espurr turns back to the camera to talk at it some more, but is cut off by a frustrated voice.]

I am fine...

[Well, the strange little cat... creature seemed well enough, but if that voice was any indication the same couldn't be said of her roommate. Or was it Master? He'd already seen a handful of little-monster-beastmasters in Saeng Seong, after all... His reply came to Espurr.]

...He does not sound so. [Especially as odd as his voice sounded.] He is ill, then? Injured?

[She nods again, eagerly. There's a sigh from the person in the bed.]

I just need....contact. That is all.... [Yeah, it's totally not a big deal, he just can't get up or anything :|b Mewtwo is dumb.]

[Almost exactly a month ago he was helping Morgana with the same malady; were the guests slipping in their efforts to keep contact, or were they simply sated from that romantic holiday in February..?

Well, he had more pressing concerns right now, if only on Mewtwo's behalf. He spoke a little louder, mindful of- if not addressing- both Pokemon present.]

Which building and which number? I offer my hand, if you would take it.

Who are you? [We are nervous of strangers. Especially since Mewtwo is kind of far away from the computer at the moment so he can't even check the video feed or anything. Espurr looks to be thought, trying to figure out how to give Ramza the information he needs. She can't write, after all. But if Mewtwo doesn't give in soon, maybe she can do some sign language.]

I am Ramza. Ramza Beoulve. Though... I do not think we've met. [Or that his name carried much weight. He could have said "the moon come to check the tides" for all the good it would have done him.]

...No-one of consequence. But one who would give his aid regardless.

Espurr? [~~What's that, girl? Timmy's stuck in the well?!~~

It doesn't take a lot for Freya to realize that something is wrong, whatever the Pokemon is trying to say.]

Is there something wrong that Mewtwo cannot help you with? [She heard his voice, however faint, so it's clear that he's at least nearby.]

[Espurr squeaks. She recognizes Freya's voice. And oh hey its Freya's face on the laptop!

The little creature nods her head so fast it practically bounces off her chest. Chattering, she waves her hands around, apparently trying to explain something while sending looks over her shoulder.

Finally she scoots out of the way so that Freya can see a large Mewtwo-shaped lump on the bed.]

[Thankfully, it's easy enough to comprehend her meaning when Freya finally spots Mewtwo lying behind her. Not this again, surely?]

Mewtwo isn't feeling well? I thought I told him to be more careful... [That's it, Mister. She's going to be stopping by and checking on you more often.]

Espurr, why don't you go sit against him for a while? It should help a bit until I get there.

[~~MOOOOOOOOOOM.~~ Espurr chirps happily, since it sounds like she's finally getting pokedad some help, and then scurries over to the bed. Cutely having trouble climbing up onto it, because she's still quite small. The Mewtwo lump grumbles as Espurr curls up on the bed.]

I am fine... [coughbullshitcough]

[Yeah right.] If you were fine, you would have enough energy to get off the bed and speak with me face to face. [On whatever that thing Espurr used is. And you don't, so you're not.

She doesn't waste any more time, turning off the feed and making her way towards Mewtwo's apartment. At least she knows where he lives now.

Once Freya arrives, she tries the door handle, hoping it's unlocked.]

[There's a little huff from the lump before Freya turns off the feed. And for convenience's sake we'll say the door is unlocked! The bedroom door is open as well, where Mewtwo-lump and Espurr are sitting on the bed. The laptop is sitting on the desk, on but idle.

When the door opens, Espurr darts over to see who it is, nervous; but then she gives a happy chirp when she sees its Freya.

Mewtwo doesn't move, and is turned away from the door, but he does say something: ]

I am sorry.

[He feels so dumb right now. 8( ]

[The dragon knight lets out a sigh at the sight, but strides over to sit down next to him without much pause.]

You need not apologize, but I'd much rather see you healthy than bedridden. [You gotta make an effort, Mewtwo. Besides...]

After all, you do have someone to take care of who needs you to be healthy.

[The Pokemon groans slightly, then finally attempts to roll over to face her. He glances at his cheerful roommate at Freya's words. She's right, Espurr does need him, which is still a weird prospect for him because parenting.]

It is dangerous...for me to go out often. There are people here I do not trust.

[Freya puts her hand on Mewtwo's shoulder, both to provide the needed contact and make sure he doesn't go anywhere. She doesn't really want to haul a collapsed Pokemon into bed.]

Then you only need surround yourself with people that you do trust. [She's basically scolding him at this point...] Locking yourself away only to fall ill does no one any favors, yourself included.

[Is this device even working for him? A gray creature-of-sorts has apparently taken over the feed and is having a grand ol' time trying to say something. He almost wants to say it's a Pokemon, though he hasn't seen one like this before.]

[WELL MAYBE YOU DON'T KNOW ALL THE POKEMONS IN THE WORLD HUH HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT THAT GIOVANNI HUH

Espurr notices him watching and watches back. Are you going to do something? Say something? Espurr can say something if you want! She can chirp at you!]
