Greetings, fellow... "guests" of our mostly benevolent "hosts."

[She still seems rather unsure about that, but the uneasiness is pushed aside rather easily.]

My name is Y'akeno Lhea, and with a handful of others having what already mentioned it, I would like to extend my services as well. Do you have that special someone here you wish to give a gift to? Or mayhap a special friend to celebrate this... "Singles Awareness" with? Whether it may be clothing, candies, jewelry or armor, I can guarantee high quality and handcrafted items on time for the 14th!

[As proof, she holds up a few necklaces and a pair of earrings as an example. Though those in the common area of Building 2 Floor 4 will see she's set up a corner that already has a couple mannequins with leatherwork and hand-woven clothing in it.]

Quite. At least, that is what another referred to it as... I'm more used to the holiday being called Valentoine's Day.

[Spreading the love to unfortunate souls who seem forlorn, helping couples, etc. If she knew she could be paid for being a busybody in the sense of matchmaker sooner...]

I confess I'm ignorant of what else they mayhap refer to other holidays as well.

I learned just this past month about Christmas, which is celebrated around the time of the winter solstice and the new year. I'm told it's meant to celebrate generosity by way of giving gifts...

[In cuddle city? Matchmaker Y'akeno would certainly have a field day. But Freya, so far, is completely ignorant of what the day means.]

But what of this Valentoine's Day? It sounds as if it involves a similar concept.

Really? It was the first I heard of it as well!

[Finally, someone who was just as lost about these holidays as she was! Yay learning new things!]

We in Eorzea celebrate the Starlight Festival - but I get ahead of myself. [Oh, Freya...] Valentione's Day, as it is most often celebrated in my realm, is a day to celebrate the realm-wide search for true love and for would-be lovers to bear their hearts to those they love.

[Though the means... well, there's a reason we don't talk about the pirates and their crushes.]

...Most often with jewelry and chocolates.

I see... [Probably not a good idea to get friends a gift for that day in particular, then. She doesn't want to give the wrong impression... But the thought of it makes her sigh longingly. How would a holiday like that have gone between her and Fratley, she wonders?

She dismisses the thought with a shake of her head. She can still get things for her friends, as long as she doesn't present them on that particular day, right?]

You said you were selling clothing, as well?

[That sound is not lost to her, though perhaps it's best not to pry about it. Instead she simply clasps her hands together and nods. She spent enough time in the marketplace to know better.]

I am, indeed. As well as these... I believe the locals call them "friendship bracelets"?

[They are chain links with tiny charms on them; that is all that is separating them from "copper/mythril wristlets" to her.]

Friendship bracelets? [Those definitely sound like they're worth checking out.]

You said that you were in the second building? I think I would like to come and see what you have to offer. [She wants to talk about some other things, too, and speaking in person is always more comfortable for her.]

[She nods, making an affirmative sound.]

I'm on the fourth floor. Daresay it would be hard to miss it. [What are these touchscreen devices she will never get them - for now, at least. Linkpearls she could get. This will take a while.

She will be waiting for the not!Qiqirin on the fourth floor, straightening another jacket she had just completed on a mannequin.]

[She turns off the feed after a nod and heads towards said location, though she's in no rush, so she simply climbs the stairs to get there.

Freya approaches the makeshift booth--it's hard to miss--and greets the Miqo'te with a polite smile and nod.]

You said your name is Y'akeno, yes?

[She looks up from her organizing with a nod, grinning.]

That it is. Though I don't believe I caught yours...?

Freya Crescent. It's a pleasure to meet you.

[She has several questions for the adventurer, but first, to business.]

You mentioned "friendship bracelets"? I hadn't heard of them before.

The pleasure is mine, ma'am!

[The action may seem odd, but she crosses her arms over her torso, bowing slightly. Habits she picked up in her service are hard to drop.]

Nor had I before I asked a local at a jewelry shop. [She motions to some of the bracelets on the stand.] I've found they are more oft than not made of different colored threads, but I've added my own little...spin on some.

[Including some with a few small jewels beaded into the weaving.]

[After getting used to technology and so many different customs, a simple gesture of what she can assume is respect isn't hard for her to take in stride. She turns to the indicated bracelets, one hand brought to her chin and the other on her hip.]

Hmm...

[Decisions, decisions. Freya has plenty of money saved up from over the months, but she should probably make sure she can afford Y'akeno's work before deciding she wants to give gifts to everyone ~~since she didn't know about Christmas and all~~. She gestures to one of the jeweled ones, imagining they're more expensive.]

How much would this one be?

[She waits patiently as Freya decides, though in the end...she can't help but likely surprise her new friend with the price.]

50 in this world's currency and a hug, along with a promise to give the lucky friend a hug as well.

[Freya lets out a quiet laugh.]

I think I can afford that, though with how many I'd like to purchase, perhaps I'll have to put a few hugs on my tab. [She would like to appreciate all of her friends with sparkly jewelry, yes.]

[She laughs as well, though a bit louder and amused.]

That is more than alright.

[She picks out three--no, four bracelets of different colors and lays them on the table. Hmm. Maybe she needs to get out more often.]

Do you have one of the scanners they use to retrieve the money from these? [She pulls out her card from a pocket, hoping that Y'akeno does.] I'm still not entirely sure how it works, despite having used it for a while now...

[The hug is coming. She just wants to get the confusing technology part out of the way first.]
