[A screen would pop up and a good-looking man who is seemingly in his mid-30s would appear.]

Whoever's watching this, maybe you'll take enough of an interest. I'm seeing all these introductions and thought I'd follow suit.

My name's Hal. And like many of you, I'm not from here. I'm from the U.S. and I'm definitely not home. Does anyone know an exit? I was in the middle of something back home until I was rudely taken to this place.

How else did you all get here? What were you all doing? Maybe we can find some answers there first.

I asked about that at the Welcome Center and...I don't think there is a way to go home. N-Not yet, anyway. And they won't tell how they brought us here, either...

[The very fact that they're being kept in the dark is kind of troubling to her.]

Do you really think that what we were doing at home has anything to do with it? I mean, I was just about to go to class...

Hmm.

[Hal appears contemplative for a few moments.]

From the looks of it, I guess it doesn't.

Where are you from, exactly?

[She has always been told that she should tell people she doesn't know where she lives, but...well, given that neither she nor anyone else is any where near where she lives right now, it's probably okay.]

Oh! Um, I'm from the U.S. too, sir! Key City, New York!

[Well, Hal had never heard of any Key City in New York... Keystone City, sure. But that was in Kansas.]

Odd. Never heard of it. But anyway, it looks like we're all in the same boat. I suppose I'll look around a bit more.

W-Well, it's not a very big city, so I'm not surprised that you like, haven't heard of it.

[Not to mention nothing exciting ever happened there.]

B-But, um, if you find anything out...could you let the rest of us know, too? Not knowing makes it a little...

[She thinks for a second. Not "scarier." She's much too old to be scared. Maybe...]

It makes the whole thing feel weirder than it already is.

[Hal then nods.]

So what have you found out? I'm afraid I'm a bit out of the loop with what's going on here.

Before arrival here, one died, one was in the middle of a mission, two were walking, two were sleeping, one was painting, one was combating rumours born of magic, one was in the middle of battle, one was participating in a ceremony of sorts, one was working and one was waiting for a friend to wake - the list of course, goes on. Of those, four come from a world known as 'Earth', one from 'Animus' and 'Rukuen', though those are not their original worlds. 'Rakuen' was destroyed prior to the arrival of it's individual. There are several individuals from a similar world as I, though we remember different details.

I've been told by the welcoming centre that we'll get to return the moment we left. I can only hope it's true.

[His eyebrows raise a bit at that.]

I suppose we're in space, sure. On some kind of planet. I haven't really... researched it, I guess you can say.

I'm guessing Clark doesn't know you're here.

I was going to do that, but then I had this little voice in my head that was all "Kon. That's not a good idea." It sounded strangely like a bird.

[Asuka raises a hand like they're doing introductions at a roundtable, looking for all the world like a cocky eyepatch'd teenager]

Ejected and stuck in a desert, dragging one catatonic and one emotionally crippled, trying to find an uncontaminated place for my superiors to pick us up. Why?

[Hal squints his eyes a bit as a gesture of contemplation.]

Just curious. Taking a census of some kind. Trying to make sense of everything.

I haven't touched anyone for about two weeks now. [she shifts, massaging her shoulder.]

Tiredness, stiffness of joints and so on. Dizziness. Eyepatch feels kinda weird.

[Well crap... Hal read about that. He looked to the side and thought about things for a minute. He hadn't been in physical contact with anyone since he got here.]

Right... Damn it, how could I have forgotten. Are you going to be alright?

I'm doing it intentionally to see what would happen, and there's apparently some medical failsafe of some sort in place... yeah, I'll live.

Alright, fair enough. Let us know how it works out, would you?

That's the plan... [though at the moment, the plan kind of sucks. Guh.]
