[Finally, after months of text, there's a voice coming from Mewtwo's post. It's a strange voice, not in the tone but in the way it's transferred from the network directly into the mind. Telepathy!]

I have been asked to relieve the suffering of others... [Actually, the tone of the voice is a little strange as well. That is, he sounds somewhat surprised, in a dazed state.] The voices of the shadows have quieted...I must have been given some kind of gift.

[Hesitation, because this is not something he normally does. He's not actively a hero. But...well...]

...If you need relief...if you need the shadows to be chased away...I am available.

[The sudden voice coming from this particular network has caught his attention as he was able to listen to it through his mind than ears. Soushi found it both amazing, but a bit bothersome.

Even so, he will listen to the voice, wondering if they had an important announcement or anything interesting in particular. The first thing he will notice if the daze tone of voice, it sounded quite odd for this particular tone of voice. Second, how they were able to help the voices of the "shadows" to grow quiet. And third, he was offering his assistance of help.

Soushi will decide to respond to the voice.]

Ah, thank you very much for your kind and thoughtful gesture, sir. I am certain you will be of great assistance to others during these harsh times.

If I may ask, how were you able to offer the "shadows" relief? What did you do to accomplish such a wonderful task?

I am not certain that it was my doing. I was...touched...by a glowing spirit. [He's aware that sounds weird, but he's not sure how else to explain it.] Perhaps it gave some of its power to me.

Touched? Power? [That was new as it did not sound like the other was in pain or suffering through any type of delusions.] You do not sound as though you are in pain nor are suffering from illusions as the other victims have shown over the network. I have not heard of glowing spirits as of yet.

[He was now curious over the matter as he can't help that maybe Mewtwo had found the opposite force of the demons and shadows roaming the city.]

What do they look like?

I am not, on either count. [At least, he thinks he's not delusional. He doesn't sound super sure.] I have only seen a few of them throughout the city.

They appeared as sparks of light. At first I did not believe they existed - that is, that my mind was playing tricks on me...but eventually one...approached me.

At that point, the voices of the shadows became muted and unintelligible. I do not know why or how, but...

[There will thinking and listening on Soushi's end as he tries to find an explanation for the phenomena. A theory does present himself, but he is uncertain if it is valid or not. After all, the city they currently dwell in is different to the types of situation from his world, yet...]

They sound a little like sprites. The light to the darkness of demons and shadows. You did say, once that light touched your skin that the voices of the shadows are no longer present, correct? Are there any other properties they granted you? Can they speak like the shadows can?

...Yes. I did hear it speak. It gave me a request...to assist others in finding peace. Others affected by the shadows.

Do these "sprites" exist in your world? [He knows the fairy-tale versions, but...]

Indeed. They exist in my world in the form of wonderful stories and legends. [But.] I believe in their existence.

[That's why.]

Hm. [Not dismissive of that, since, you know, his world has flying psychic cats, but technically that answer makes their worlds the same in that regard. A topic for later, maybe, but at the moment he has another question. Someone being so kind and open is unusual, in his opinion, so; ]
