[Actually, a LOT odd and more than a little unnerving, but M'gann isn't going to let that show in her face or her words. She continues to face the screen with a friendly expression, instead.]

"But you know, according to the calendar it'll be Halloween soon...At least on Earth! And I know on Earth, there's this great tradition of dressing up in costumes. I was just thinking, since I already have my costume figured out, and since I'm pretty handy with sewing,"

[Thank you, Conner, for giving her plenty of ripped and torn shirts to practice that skill on.]

"Maybe I could help out, if anyone wants to dress up when it's time?"

It was winter, the last I remember of Earth. How soon is Halloween coming up?

[M'gann gives a nod to that, and even does what she can to look cheerful and up beat.]

"Actually it was Halloween just a few weeks ago on my Earth,"

[And she can't describe how much it lifts her up, to be able to call it HER Earth. It certainly brightens her smile.]

"But going by the events here, I'd say...Just a few days? So if people want costumes, I guess I should get started on them right away."

[aww, she seems happy] A second Halloween for you, then! Fortunate that you're in the spirit for it.

It's very generous of you to offer to help other people with their costumes. Are you going to have time to make one for yourself?

"Oh yeah, I can manage my own costume, easy."

[She's tempted to show off just a little and-

Well, whey not? She's in her green skin, so it's not like her powers are supposed to be a secret or anything while she's like this. M'gann lifts a hand up to the screen, focuses on it for a moment...And under her concentration, the sleeve extends out and wraps around her wrist. With another tweak, she adds a black coloring and a little lace and ruffles; something that wouldn't look out of place at a fancy masquerade party, M'gann likes to think.]

"Like that!"

[adflkjslg] How did you-- That's incredible! Is that some sort of sorcery...? [he's impressed! no chanting or spell scrolls or anything!] [that's right you're green and a sorceress now]

"Actually, it's more like telepathy."

[M'gann gives the screen a bright, white toothed grin before looking over her new sleeve and tugging at it. She's rather pleased with how the lace on the cuff turned out, too; she doesn't always aim for something that detailed.]

"My clothing is..." [Wait, how to put this into English? She settles for the explanation she gave to her teammates, months ago.] "It's made out of this special fabric that responds to my mental commands."
