[Actually, a LOT odd and more than a little unnerving, but M'gann isn't going to let that show in her face or her words. She continues to face the screen with a friendly expression, instead.]

"But you know, according to the calendar it'll be Halloween soon...At least on Earth! And I know on Earth, there's this great tradition of dressing up in costumes. I was just thinking, since I already have my costume figured out, and since I'm pretty handy with sewing,"

[Thank you, Conner, for giving her plenty of ripped and torn shirts to practice that skill on.]

"Maybe I could help out, if anyone wants to dress up when it's time?"

[Oh, the choices. M'gann smiles as she thinks them over.]

"There's what you went as last Halloween. But it also might be fun to try something different!"

[And as far as she knows, there's no rules that say you have to wear only ONE costume.]

"Maybe...Maybe a skeleton? Or a vampire? If I'm going to use my old costume again, that might be good."

[She gives him a look, to see if he doesn't have any ideas of his own.]

"Or you could go as Batman."

[He crosses his arms.]

You know my rules. No capes, no tights.

"Oh…Right, right. I guess I was just thinking of the last Halloween party we went to-"

[And how everyone BUT them had been expressing their inner superhero. Which had been more than a little weird. Still, she brightens up over his other reaction.]

"I could see about making you another costume? It'll be even better than the last one!"

[Which…Isn't hard to do, considering his last costume was mainly bandages.]
