[Actually, a LOT odd and more than a little unnerving, but M'gann isn't going to let that show in her face or her words. She continues to face the screen with a friendly expression, instead.]

"But you know, according to the calendar it'll be Halloween soon...At least on Earth! And I know on Earth, there's this great tradition of dressing up in costumes. I was just thinking, since I already have my costume figured out, and since I'm pretty handy with sewing,"

[Thank you, Conner, for giving her plenty of ripped and torn shirts to practice that skill on.]

"Maybe I could help out, if anyone wants to dress up when it's time?"

"I mostly know needle and thread, myself. I don't think we actually have a sewing machine at our home."

[Though the Home Economics rooms in high school DO have them, and M'gann has found herself dreaming about using them more than a few times.]

"But I've been wanting to learn how to use one. And most of what I know has been patching tears and holes," [Thanks again, Conner.] "But I've been wanting to branch out and learn how to apply what I know in different ways."

I'll see if I can't find one in the city for cheap. It'd probably come in handy.

"As...As soon as you can, probably? If there's a lot of people wanting costumes, I should get to work on them."

[And my, but she's happy she went to HIS apartment instead, under her Megan guise. She's still not fully sure just how much she wants to pursue this whole 'secret identity' bit, but it's always nice to have options.]

[And hopefully no one will question why Spider-Man is hauling a sewing machine around. If he managed to find a shop that sold them, anyway. Not like he wants to walk all the way there and back, after all.]

[M'gann simply grins; circumstances seem to repeat themselves with jumping the gun and not knowing room numbers. Her grin also softens up to a more understanding smile, as she speaks.]

"Room 2-10, building two! I'll leave the door open, so you know where I'm at, and can come on in."

[Odds are she'll have already gotten to work on sewing, too.]
